After spending almost 3 months in Thailand it was time to leave.... The Dreaded land crossing approached!!... We took the journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, we spent a few days in Chiang Rai to make the travel less stressful and a bit more enjoyable! After some time in Chiang Rai we made our way down to the local bus station and got the bus to the Laos border near Chiang Khong! Then made the big challenge of crossing over the border and we entered into Huay Xai!!!, We made this how to guide which includes everything from transport - prices!
