Crossing the Line-- a scene from Flames of the Dark Crystal, ft. SkekSa, UrSan, Naia, and more!
Since I first listened to the song on Dec 7th, I’ve been working non-stop to complete this animatic; overall, it was 20 days of constant, daily work but I’m pretty happy how it came out. Hopefully a few Dark Crystal fans will enjoy a peak at the Skeksis we unfortunately never saw in the Netflix’s series; SkekSa the Mariner is such an intriguing antagonist and it’s a pity that Age of the Resistance was canceled before the fans could see her in her puppet-self!

Yesss SkekSa!! One of the most interesting dark Crystal characters it’s so sad we never got to see her in film

Yes, agreed. I hope we get to see all 18 of the UrRu/Skeksis pairs at least briefly, even if it’s just in flash backs.

Fun fact: skeksa is the only skeksis to identify as female Also she felt betrayed by the resistance because she respected gelfling unlike most

I like it, they're two sides of the same coin, SkekSa and UrSan had suffered, SkekSa liked that Tribe but they betrayed her, just like how Cassandra finding out her mother was Gothel and murdered by the two made her feel betrayed, both Cass and Raps had the same mother but one came out better like how in this UrSan is with the Tribe while SkekSa is all alone and she is tired of waiting for people to betray her, she may not be able to kill her other half, but she can at least hurt those that have hurt her, it may not be something that fits the series perfectly but the song does fit with these two in my opinion, well done

I love UrSan and SkekSa, and this does fit them. I hope they find a way to show them on screen, in puppet form. I hope they bring back the show AOR and show these two, and all the other pairs in flashbacks if necessary.

Holy crap this is awsome! It is a bummer we never got to see her or the Satirist but it's cool to see a glimpse of what hight have been. Very well done.

I hope we can eventually see all of the UrRu and Skeksis in one way or another eventually. I hope they find a way to do that. I want to see the Great Division on screen.

Yes it is. The first time we’ve seen UrSan and SkekSa on screen, and hopefully not the last. They are very good and interesting characters.

Amen. While this song doesn’t fit Dark Crystal perfectly, this is a masterpiece. I’d love to see SkekSa and UrSan live action.

weird.... I mean I can appreciate the effort on the work but... just too weird when Dark Crystal's theme or rather its feeling is way different than this.
