Looks good. Gotta love Crosmans. I modded my Crosman 1322. I fitted the oversized Crosman backpacker pump arm from SD customs. Fitted the stock that you have. I threw on an 3-9x40 illuminated recticle scope. On top of which i fitted a Cree Ultra Fire flashlight. Fitted a G.mac barrel band 1/2inch silencer adapter, and threw on a stubby Air Arms Silencer. Its so quiet, you can only hear the action of the gun when fired and the sound of pellet hitting the target. I then added a tactical cheek rest that straps onto the stock and it snugly hides a survival kit inside the hollowed part consisting of a ferro rod, some feathered wood, fishing kit with line hooks and weights, 2 small legal EDC folding knives, a compass, a bandage and not to forget around 200 varied pellets of different weights and composition. Its proper tacti-cool. I did similar mods on a 1377 many moons ago. I fitted a Gmac flat top valve and piston, and it could hold many many pumps. I put it up for sale on Freeads when it was the time that you could do, and it sold in 40minutes and had 7 or 8 people ring afterwards who were very disapponted. I remember the old cans of wd 40 had a picture of a lawnmower, a push bike a lock a pair of scissors and a gun , this did not apply to air guns , i think the new cans are now woke with no guns at all 🤔 good vid mate
Nice overview, love these Crosmans. I do agree that the older I get, open sights are more enjoyable to plink around with. -Btw, what’s the date code on that 2250? They still offer custom shop model 2300s but they don’t seem to sell the classic “Ratcatcher 2250” in the US anymore. Probably sold better in the UK.
Interesting stuff .. was looking at ( now I might be wrong with the make / type ) a CP2 ? For garden tin can fun , you can go from pistol too rifle with the different barrels .. all in the kit .. @ £199 or there abouts .. Part 2 should be good , love repair and maintenance vids
Yep get that baby back to the shop. It no fun working on them, unless you get free or your improving it. That said they are good pistols and there is a ton of accessories for them.

I bought a used 2250B about 5 years ago, which I recently noticed has not been holding CO2 pressure for more than a few days. I put in a new cannister today and fired it off and heard the same loud hiss and felt air escaping at breech. I'm hoping I can get away with a simple valve seal replacement, which come in packs of 3 from eBay for £4.99, with free shipping. I don't know if my gun has been opened before, but there is light scratches on some of the screw heads. I also suspect the mechanism requires a good clean, as very light droplets seemed to be present in escaping air.
Hi, always worth trying a seal first. Mine has been fiddled with. I think they were trying to push up the power. A valve stem seal will fix a lot of problems. Thanks for watching.
@@RealAirgunAdventures Thanks for reply. I dismantled gun yesterday and discovered the tiny spring and bearing were not in mechanism. Were these fitted in all models and what exactly are their function? Clearly my gun operated without them. I'm ordering a complete valve and stem unit replacement, to hopefully fit this weekend. Also, the barrel, trigger area and several other sections need repainting; is there a particular type of black paint which is best to go directly onto bare metal on these guns?
@@toneschofield4609 the spring and ball are part of the safety. I've never seen one without them. The only paint I use is plasicote. Seem to work pretty well. Sounds like yours have opened in the past.
@@RealAirgunAdventures I'm certain it's been opened more than once. Someone probably wanted to upgrade the power, although I've always found this gun great for plinking targets at various distance and it does pack quite a punch. I got a correctly sized Allen key today, to get to valve tomorrow, so get to check the part properly. Its quite fascinating working on this gun and hope to get it back to good condition soon.
You should get a CP2 to play with. Mines kept me busy for about 2 years. Got from a nice 8 ft-lbs plinker to a very solid 17 ft-lbs beast on HPA. I live in Spain so that's perfectly legal.
I like the cp2 and really should have one in my collection. People turn up with broken airguns all the time, word has gotten around. Half the time they just need a drop of oil. If they don't want them back I pass them on to new shooters. 👍
@@RealAirgunAdventures I absolutely love mine. I paid €96 a week before lockdown in 2020. Really tough time here locked inside for 3 months, lost my Dad back in the UK, just spent it working online and tuning the CP2. Great platform to fiddle with. Now mines absolutely amazing
@@lefizz55 That was a great buy, not just the price. Lockdowns have a lot to answer for or the people behind them do. Glad you've got your self a great little airgun. Those Chinese co2 and even the pcp's are built to be tinkered with.
@@RealAirgunAdventures Yeah, very easy to dismantle and just a few Allen keys required. I can completely strip it in about 5 minutes. Actually very solidly built but they need a bit of TLC in the finishing department. I always wanted a Ratcatcher but the cp2 offers so much more for less than half the price.
Interesting video, as always. I've gone out and bought one of these today from my local gunshop. I bought it to keep me "entertained" while I'm waiting for my flashpup! Ive found out from Sportsman Gun centre that they reckon October/November for deliveries to them and are saying it's down to Covid and trying to sort out shipping etc 😪😩 oh well, I've waited this long so I suppose another couple of months is "do-able"!
I doubt it was covid, I've heard a different story. SGC are going be about right. Two containers and one is here, clearing customs. The new models are in the second container. That's on its way.
Enven spray silicone oils have quite a bit of solvents ! I spray some in a needle bottle to put on the dog chain hook in the winter and when I fill it I need to keep the cap off for 2-3 days I did fix my marksman 1010 with wd40! [Ok maybe all it needed was any type of oil but it worked! Hahaha] {Edit; 7:40 sounds about right hahaha}

@@RealAirgunAdventures Main goal is some partridge but I could taste rabbit for the first time in something else than a "tourtiere du lac st-jean" French names; Perdrix grise, Gelinotte huppee and Tetras [I call them free chickens haha] Id taste some dove but it is not allowed with airguns due to migratory status (Need a good old shotgun)
