The Rival system...I feel like that would open up too many problems like, for example, targeting players just because they have weaker builds for easy kills and resource gouging.
1) I would really love to be able to free build without being restricted to the parts I actually have. By allowing this 'free build' mode you can motivate people to prioritise the right factions for your playstyle/buildstyle. You could even allow the player to save the blueprint for future use. Just don't allow any uploads of blueprints in exhibition before you actually own all the pieces of the build. Just to keep you yearning to unlock more of the game. 2) Allow use to stock up pieces we don't use in or storage in a different tab. Avoiding useless scrolling while building. Yes, I'm looking at you 'starter wheels'!
The work around for the building issue is to place a frame well outside the box on the garage floor then in that area place your desired cab, gen, modules, and weapon... this helps you set your build parameters before actually constructing. You can also do this with structural/non structural parts you intend to use once you have a basic frame/build ongoing to figure what engine, wheels and mass/tonnage/hp requirements you need to combine to carry those parts.
The rivals idea is really interresting. But i think it would have helped the community at the beginning, now i think it would harm it by resulting them to get angry and insult each other, its not easy to find calm and friendly chats even when they won (sorry for Bad english)
No worries, your English is great. 🙂 Yes, having Rivals could cause more problems than solutions, but it was a fun idea at least. Maybe we could have bots that become Rivals? Just a thought. 🙂
common part drops at random off of that cars parts in PVE like if you want tank parts you can fight. destroy and loot Steppenwolf.. then make commons fuseable. not only would this ad to sandbox but people's favorite builds could have hard points that had to be built up manually and methodically thought out to drive in to battle with. edit. make frames have a pirk of blast and fire resist at teir(lll). also with wheit and mass limit and an 80 part limit. this wouldnt be too OP and no rares or epic drops.. unless they make awesome boss matches or its the cargo in the pve detroyable green truck challenges. that'd be nice
I would like a rank mode, and each rank should have power score and item rarity caps to keep it balanced, higher your rank more resources and greater the power score limit
Interesting suggestions! Idk about rivals... on console it's like you can get match after match against the same clans... don't need them getting more resources from stomping me again and again until I change ps. Maybe make it more of a positive thing, like if you help/assist the same person instead of destruction, and call it "comrades" or something.
All suggestions are more than good, but there is only one suggestion wich devs just dont want to do is: listen to the community and after that make decisions,with every update,patch my friend list is smaller and smaller,ppl are leaving and those ppl are not some kidos but mature ppl who are feed up with this lazy and stubborn developing
I'm sure they have a lot of pressure to balance profits with content and other aspects of game development. I like where the game is at, there's really nothing like it imo.
I unfortunately don't have a better rival system but your idea is too exploitable. People would cheese the system. But the idea of rivals is a cool one.
true, but the Battle Replay feature certainly will. it would make it so much easier to catch and report cheaters if you can watch/record them. there are so many who use macro scripts without getting caught.
Yes these all things are very great especially the first one👌 Hope devs will add them to the game. Actually the rival thingi could be pretty cool for all players because players try to conter each other rival‘s build and so it‘s more chaotic in comparison everyone runs melee, dogs etc. Cool video and please make more of them. - In the garage lift the vehicle higher so you can see better where you're placing large objects - when a melee build kills an enemy flip the wreck over and away from you so you can continue driving without being stopped. -if a squib is placed under the car's front. make it able to pop the front of the car in the air like a jump to ram hovers. - be able to use more keys to assign weapons to. - 1st, 2nd, 3rd player out has the option to take over one of the bots if they are still in the game (the points he earns don't go to him)
I seen some thing that say we gonna have helicopter blades so maybe we gonna have helicopters though one thing that would be cool is more military builds
Sadly, over 99% of all new gameplay elements and modes are locked behind a timegated expiration date through events. The devs don’t really seem to care about enhancing the game itself, we still only have the same singular pvp mode, and pve that is worse than in game I have ever played since old gameboy days, even after 7 years now.
Two features are needed: 1 - There should be stricter PS limits (for example: 0 - 2500; 2501 - 3500; 3501 - 4500...); 2 - Prohibition of play in a group at low PS levels OR two different modes, one for group play and one for solo play.
The player base is too small for this, currently the game runs with about 6000 players at peak times, split them up on the game modes, raid (hard/medium/easy/invasion) Browls, Clan War and PvP, and do some PS you will see some match ups with 4v4 and 8 bots.... Also, when you play as a team, you face a team, if one team is on your side, another team is on the other side, unless you have a 3 group player against a 4 group player, they will be facing themselves if there is no 3 player team in queue, also the grouped queue is like 30 seconds longer The battle royal only works on the Russian server, EU and US are too small too (queue over 30 min)
that system is already in place if the player base is populated enough you can get a balance of +-300ps per match. Currently the player base is low in certain ps levels at certian times so players for example may face 12-13k with a 10k build or 10-12k with a 9.5k build. Also it seems to many that there is some sort of player handicapping system at work. Example of that is you win 6-7 matches and score top 4 for each the next 5 matches you face higher PS or are placed with players that lost the last 6-7matches and your supposed to carry hem to victory which rarely happens because it is a team based game.
@@masterdebater8757 Well, you can carry any team to victory, with the power of monney. Because of how wrong the upgrade system works. Even with 2000 PS lower, you can defeat any player as long as you play with a fully upgraded meta build, take a look at the new shiny cabin who just burnt the meta. If you look at every leaderbord it's rare to have balanced point between 3-4 players expet if they win by cap / in a team It's usualy 70-80% point from 1 player the rest to the team. Well I was one of thoses lone wolf killer, making MVP every matchs, just because my build was unfair with my experience playing it. I didn't play the game since 6 mouth, but i sure nothing changed. Also the reason why i stoped playing. Since i was a Heather and mandrake player, i know that team works doesn't mean anything exept in CW, where the power creep is even worse. And yes, don't play over 8000-9000 PS if you don't want to face 12000 build. Those are dead tiers I did run a lot of 4999-6999 PS build then 13-14K. (main was hulk bastion, thunderbold jannabi, before nerf)
The bonus for rivals is way too high, Crossout developers are not known for their generosity, maybe resources should be replaced with XP. Also, 10 is a low number, and what if all your rivals are playing at, say, 5000 PS and you decide to train for clan war and use your 17000 PS, those players will be stuck because some of them can't make the effort of those PS, that's also sound like bullying, I used to kill the same player 4 times in a row not because his build was bad, but I was his perfect counter... so making him switch build to fight me, but maybe he just can't, or don't want too. Also I don't want to be rewarded for that. This sounds horrible for new players.
Right now, the most interesting change they could make is to listen to their community, the developers are as you can see pressured by gaijin to release updates that would bring more money to the publisher even if it costs in player numbers. You can see them doing partnership videos with big content creators, and this is their way of renewing their community. They really don't care about the quality of the game if they don't make money on it. Let's take the first and second suggestions, Blueprints/replay will take up server space and therefore be limited for the player, whereas the developers could simply add a new code for build/replay files and allow players to store them on their personal hard drives, so they would be unlimited and the best players wouldn't complain about build theft. Overwatch has such a mechanic... So why not ? Having a replay editor allows you to use the game engine itself, and if you look at a custom battle, you already have all the information you need. So the developers don't need much work to implement these things, but the reality is that they don't have time, they are working on the future battle pass which will be available in January. Something that gives profit.
I personally would love having a Battle Replay function. I have spent hours in some of my Rocket League replays, learning from my mistakes and admiring a great play.
Did the powerscore of omni wheels just got lowered ? Or did I miss something ? Also, they should fix PvE matchmaking. I often end up in a 3 stars raid with only one other player with a weak build and lose 60L of gas.
1)Same bots for both teams (random bot variation at the PS but both teams get duplicates so no OP bots on one team and noob bots on the other.) 2)Friendly fire on mode (your weapons damage your team) 3) Get rid of all these flashy notifications (they are annoying and distracting) 4)Be able to place parts anywhere at all, get rid of chassis (make some freaking interesting builds)
Sadly the bots are used to intentionally rig matches, so the chances of them ever being removed from pvp, regardless of playerbase, is basically zilch. The bots are significantly worse on console versions too, with over 95% of matches the B team bots will get 0 points and literally never even fire once, even when being shot, and the A team bots stick with their team, perform normally and actually score points and sometimes even take mvps
How about a repair system instead of the tokens in the raids , you have counter that will tell you the amount of scrap metal you have, to get more scrap metal you have destroy more raiders if you have enough scrap metal you can (R) button to repair, time depends how damaged you are.
Rivals. So single someone out in every battle. Watch for them to be online. Of course, don't single out the weakest opponent. I dislike this idea. New player retention needs to be a priority. But I don't expect devs to be rational. Based on experience.
