After having watched a considerable number of these freestyle rap videos, I have yet to come across one where the improvised beat (instead of a beat from a DJ) is a good fit.

One of vids he has a beatboxer from the crowd help him since his phone died or something. The guy did pretty well and was able to adapt during the rap too I think.

This was really solid with such consistent flow. I think its most impressive when you just hard cut into a serious rap with consistent flow throughout. It takes people by surprise and subverts their expectations the best.
