This is my absolute favourite song of theirs. Those harmonies. Perfect. But I reserve the right to pick any other of their songs as my absolute favourite as well.

Went to a Fleetwood Mac concert a few years ago. Neil Finn replaced Lyndsey Buckingham after he pulled out of the tour. He played this, everyone turned the torch on their phone and the crowd was singing along. It was the best part of the concert, the atmosphere was electric. The live version at the Sydney Opera house is well worth watching.

I have never been able to figure out if this is my favourite crowded house song or don’t dream it’s over… not a bad dilemma to be in.

Crowded House finish their live concerts with 'Better be home soon' every single show now a days. It's like a lovely tribute to Hessie every time. 🥰 I just saw 3 shows last month and they are just as amazing as ever. Neil Finn is a brilliant, brilliant man😁

You probably need to see the Finn brothers when they were in their band Split Enz totally different style to their Crowded House music but absolute wicked vocals and energy. Now that was a vibe back then.

If they were an American or British act they may have been bigger but they are enormous success in my mind. Crowded House concerts are something you could take your kids to.

On a High School date...heard this album for the first time. So many great songs, but this was the song that hooked me into the Neil Finn library. FOREVER.

I have seen crowded house live many times…. Sadly after Paul Hester passed away though but the band still rocks it! And their current drummer is a pretty funny guy like Paul Neil sang this song as a tribute to Paul Hester in awards shows the year he passed away and it was really fitting Last time I saw crowdies was in 2016 when they did a revival of their opera house steps performance and I was 17 weeks pregnant- best night ever!

They kicked off their Australian tour in Darwin last night (20th Oct 2022), and they were amazing! Neil Finn still sounds this good, the whole band was amazing and the harmonies were superb! If you are in Australia, find out where they are playing and go and see them.

They're a kiwi band used to be called Split Enz. "I see red" was a popular song of theirs from that time. Also if you happen to see this for some reason, another somewhat similar band called The Cockroaches, song "Hey let's go!", a rarely known thing about them was they were the band who quit rock and went on to do childrens entertainment, they changed their name to "The Wiggles" and found their way in to the history books not only here but in the U.S too i believe.

This is by far my favourite Crowded House song. Don't Dream It's Over gets all the plaudits, but I think Better Be Home Soon is a superior song. Just a beautiful ballad, simple but classy.

This will always be special to a lot of us... the best, but most emotional version of this song was when Neil did it solo at the 2005 Arias not long after Paul (Hester) passed away... the crowd were awesome and supported him when they needed.... brilliant - I have no idea how he got through the entire song to be honest...

Laid back type music ..in Oz pubs In 80s I use to always play this album at a lower volume before our band started at a much powerful higher volume ..using JBL PA systems.

Neil just had covid so they cancelled a concert last month. But found out back on on November 12th binbagen estate in the hunter valley New South Wales. 👍
