My close friends in highschool and I used to do those kinda things as jokes to each other back in the day, but we were 14-16 and grew out of that pretty quick. I have no doubt Steven has been (and is) a horrible authoritarian manager. I don't know about the exposing stuff yet, I tend to believe it, but it also sounds maybe too convenient.
