Crowds filled Glasgow's George Square for the official Proclamation of the new King, Charles III.
To mark the formal accession of King Charles III, the Union Flag will hoisted at full-mast from the City Chambers on Saturday 10 September until the official Proclamation on Sunday 11 September.

@@zoon1543 Aiberdeen has roughly 200.000 population. How many of them lined the streets? To put it in perspective when the Don's won the league Cup a few years back 80.000 lined the streets. There were nothing like that to see Lizzys hearse. FACT.
