My heart brokealmost completely when Crowley pointed on nightingales' silence, and fell apart when Aziraphale said 'I forgive you'. I must stop doing this to myself. Awesome editing and music btw, I loved it❤
i fucking LOVE this video, even when it breaks my heart... it makes it clearer than ever that despite their romanticism of their "own side", Crowley and Aziraphale's truly never talked about what that really meant, they never really talked about themselves in the deeper sense, they never talked about how the side they're on is humanity, is earth and that lack of clarity made Aziraphale fuck up (momentarily let's hope) their future. The worst part is that even at this point, Crowley wants to run and refuses to accept that he's willing to become a soldier again if it means defending humanity. God this show became so much deeper with a dizzying speed.
It's ok, everyone is where they nedd to be to start the final act. Look where Crowley has landed, taking a stand in front of the blue green, the plants, life on earth, the sea of humanity, yearning to breathe free. Crowley is very close now to finding the Mother of Exiles.
Ok, I've seen a lot of edits and tributes and all that stuff for Good Omens lately, but this is the most beautiful and perfect one I've ever seen, thank you for this masterpiece!

With the opening I thought this would be a sweet fluffy video and then you bombasted with feels😭😭😭 So clever to use the God narration to rewind and then parallel with Beelzebub and Gabriel
Oh my god I literally held my breath when I heard the first verse of ‘Don’t fear the reaper’, as that is one of my favourite songs ever!!! My favourite version of this song is the original by blue oyster cult but this version of the song is so beautiful and powerful and it suits so well, and I never noticed how well the lyrics fit with Aziraphale and Crowley until now. Good god I honestly spent the whole damn video holding my breath. You picked the absolute perfect song choice for this montage and this is the best Aziracrow tribute I’ve seen by far 💙💖 it’s so perfect that I’m crying and I just want to say that you are so talented and I hope you keep on editing! 🙌🥹 P.S: I wish every single person in this comment section, and everyone else who is currently suffering from the season 2 ending a super speedy recovery ❤️🩹
The way you juxtaposed lines from different scenes - especially Gabriel and Beelzebub's lines with the final scene between Crowley and Aziraphale - is so brilliant! I love this!
I reckon this was one big trick from the Metatrone. Azira still has a complex of a "good boy" and he feels he is better than Crowley. He still sees him as a lesser being if you look a this. A foul fiend. He teams up with him when it is convenient when he needs help but he still doesn't like to admit he is his friend and especially not to Heaven. He only would be with him if Crowley took his offer and became an Angel again which shows Azi is embarrassed that Crowley is a demon. He doesn't accept him as he is and he wants to change him to an Angel so he can be with him and not be embarrassed because Crowley would be an Angel, so that would be all right. I think after arriving to Heaven he will be punished severely, and put in Heaven prison. I reckon the Metatron just wanted to separate him from Crowley so they can go ahead with the second Armageddon. I reckon in season 3 we will see Crowley will be yet again rescuing his angelic ass.

this is truly one of the best edits i've ever seen! your "on your side" video is still my favorite season one edit, but this one was even better, pointing out all the symbolism and parallels so well (and the song choice was amazing)!! using god's narration at the beginning was genius, and it made me think, if god is canonically telling this story, she had gabriel and beelzebub be footnotes in the epic, millenia-spanning story that is aziraphale and crowley's love for a reason. first of all, i think she -- and neil -- are just as much fans of angsty, extremely slow-burn, dramatic love stories as we are. i know those personally have a lot more meaning for me, at least. i'm wondering if there may be a deeper meaning to god's decision to have told this particular story, and in this way, that could be revealed next season? i'm not sure what yet, but it makes me wonder...

Crowley thought him and Aziraphale could be like Gabriel and Beelzebub, going off together for the rest of eternity, but then he realised they weren't on "our side" anymore and Aziraphale couldn't accept that Crowley isn't an angel and Crowley not wanting to go back to be an angel. Crowley just wanted to be with Aziraphale, his angel.
You know actors did a magnificent job when you cry for the fates of their fictional characters. Sheen and Tennant had me into tears after that final episode of S2, and I'm definitely not the weepy type. During the kissing scene, I wanted to tie them together with duct tape and glue so they could never be parted again. 💔😭

I love that this one has so much good stuff from season 1 too but even though I read the book it had been too long and I still had to look up the nightingales significance, kept trying to find a S1 scene for it, going to take way too long for S3 to get here so will try not to wear this vid out in the meantime waiting 💔 😇 😈
