Crowley - "Cant Blame A Girl" S7E1

He knew he wasn't going to die. There's few things Crowley respects in life. One of them is Kreg. He'd say FU to everyone and everything, but wasting good Kreg? He is a scottsman after all. That's blasphemy. He'd have downed it, doffed it, or put glass down. The rest was just for show. The point was that he'd be away from demons who'd see him grovel if need be. The Devil you know is always better than the devil you don't. Crowley lives on being tough but fair. Crowley bowed out graciously after the fallout from Purgatory, ensured Castiel's sense of superiority, and waited for Castiel to inevitably come back around when he needed him. The moment Crowley would've died would've been the moment Castiel received godlike power - he wouldn't have bothered to tell Crowley to flee if he didn't want him to go hide in a hole somewhere. The point was to become as unobtrusive as possible, and presume nothing. Live in your trailer, pretend to be a spot on the pavement and wait, like a good dog. This isn't the first angel in charge Crowley's dealt with. If Crowley thought he was toast, he'd at least tried to take Castiel with him. He's got the means to at least attempt something to survive and attack. Instead, diplomacy. Tact. Grace. You can go a long way with manners, humility, and a damn fine sense of humor.

Nah he isn’t no villain, he’s the... black sheep style uncle of the winchesters. In the end, he died FOR them, I like to imagine if Dean and sam had kids and he was alive, Crowley would be the cool “uncle”

The Equalizer untrue, Castiel was sinply a mutated angel, a combination of monster souls with angelic grace, kinda like a mutated nephilim, but because the warding failed it did not mean he was leagues above the Archangels, maybe above the first three, but that was legitimate fear in his voice when he references Michael, he knew Michael was powerful enough to destroy him and he was likely not powerful enough to destroy Michael, otherwise he would have just destroyed the Cage

Dude, except the fact that Cass wanted to keep hell as a treat for his enemies and preserve that cage, you guys have no argument in favor for the overrated Michael.Cass had the juice to erase hell. By doing that, he would destroy that cage, a cage made by God himself, strong enough to keep the archangels in it. You guys give Michael more credit than he deserve. Cass was much more stronger than Michael. And how in the hell Cass was afraid of Michael but had the balls to mess with Death?

The Equalizer totally fucking agreed. Godstiel was miles stronger than michael or any archangel. The ARCHANGEL BLADE didnt even scratch him. these people are lost if they disagree and overlook the FACTS

The Equalizer because he was insane, drunk on power, and was full of himself, if he was so much mire powerful than michael than he would have erased him, michael was the strongest angel in all of creation, "Godstiel" as you call him was simply a mutated angel, unable to control his power, Also it wasnt an archangel blade that they stabbed him with, and Castiel wanted to use hell as a threat yes, but hell is not the entire cage, also that was definitely fear in his voice when referring to michael, he said we NEED to keep micahel in the cage, not i WANT, which means he was definitely worried ablut michael, also Calling michael overrated is just ignorance, Castiel will never be that strong again and you think he was soooo powerful, he only destroyed raphael who was much much weaker than michael, he picked a fight with death but that is like a drunken idiot picking a fight with a tank so that argument is null and void

Hans Cascante your poor interpretation of this sounds "drunk" bro. he stopped death from using any of his powers with ease, he easily obliterated an arch angel with the snap of his finger (no arch angel can snap kill another arch angel), he WAS stabbed with rafael's arch blade, he could have killed michael or lucifer, he just wanted balance and natural order, the list goes on. he controlled his power for a good moment until the leviathan took over. the only person who could take on cas at this point was god himself. death couldnt do shit but wait until his power consumed him. It WAS the case. Had Cass really been stronger than Michael (and therefore also Lucifer), he would've killed them both, just like Raphael. But he couldn't. And that's why he wanted The Cage to remain intact.

@@srccde they may be powerful enough to not be snapped apart, but I doubt they were powerful enough to snap raphael. Cas was above one of them but not both

@@dylanw9030 Well, in that case he might've been above Lucifer but that still leaves Michael. Had he gotten rid of the Cage, he would've released them both and whilst probably being able to defeat Lucifer relatively easily, he would've gotten into problems with Michael and that's why he kept the Cage intact. Also, the reason why neither Michael, nor Lucifer were able to simply snap their younger siblings could've been that it simply wasn't "allowed" for archangels to kill their siblings that easily - independent of their individual raw power.

Weren't lucifer and Michael around equal in power, with Michael superior but not by a mile? Either way, guess both of them together might have been to much for castiel(the poor planet) , though I bet my money on cas in a one on one scenario (as long as he doesn't explode)

@@dumbeldordies2315 I think the main universe ones were pretty close but Michael still is older and in Supernatural "older" equals "more powerful" most of the time. However, there must've been a reason why Lucifer wanted to fight Michael 1vs1 at the end of season 5 because he must've thought that he'd have a chance - he wouldn't have risked such a fight if Michael was far superior. Well, Cass was able to lift the binding spell off of death with the snap of a finger. That's a pretty powerful move. It's possible that not even Michael was able to do that.

Everyone was, that's when the show stopped being good... well that happened long before Crowley died.

it's the same reason the Angel blade didn't kill him. he's not an Angel anymore.

He was mutanted angel with every purgatory creature soul. (That including leviathan, vampires, werewolves and shape shifters.)

If you want know more death is explained to cas and the other boys very clearly.

Cupid Betty castiel became sort of a Chimera at this point, a combination of different things, so it's not that he was so powerful that they didn't work, he was just more than an angel

He wasnt decaying More like burning alive, the same thing that happened to Lucifer's vessel and Nick eventually wasted away no matter what Lucifer did

@@user-pi3hd2bt3f Not true, Nick had to drink gallons of demon blood to hold Lucy but even that wasn't enough to stop him from "burning away". The leviathans on the other hand, weren't actually "burning away" Godstiel but poisoning him, since leviathan "goo" was very toxic to angels. Whittling him down bit by bit until they could get control of him and his vessel.
