This was an awesome video! Even just watching on a screen, there is still something so calming and peaceful about seeing and hearing the water. Looked like an incredible spot and so cool you got to do a trip with Nate, he's pretty awesome and really seems to know his stuff! I have a HD computer video looked fantastic really , Love the camp site beautiful views of the lake and shore line . I drink those French vanilla packs all the time and mix it with regular coffee .peaceful video this was real nice adventure glad to see you back out .

Back in my Army days when out on an FTX, I mixed a jar of Tang with a Quart jar of Moonshine. All this went in a 5-gallon jerry water can, with large chunks of ice from the refer trailer. Fasten it to the back of the jeep and made the rounds. The Troops loved it.

These canoe trips are a great way to scout out logs for the sawmill. Sure, tough to portage, but……

Those H2O canoes are becoming really popular ... I bought a 16.5 Canadian the first year they came out, love it. The Canadian style is so stable it's almost un-tippable but you sacrifice a fair bit of speed for the stability.

Question that water in the lake do you filter that before you use it for cooking etc? and the snow i saw in other video's , you only cook and then use it for coffee? That might not be healty right? Or you place somekind of anti bacteria tablet in the cooking pan?

Do you filter the water before you drink it? So you get it out of the lake

Crown land covers a lot of territory... could you give a hint as to where this was in Canada? Ontario has about 92% Crown Land or @ 844,321 sq KM eh?

Great video. However, nobody drinks tang, it tasted awful 40 years ago, but now I know where we unloaded all that tang ( our neighbors to the north, sorry about that). Hope Grizz is completely healed by the time you get this. Grizz will be Grizz, we all make mistakes, but he enjoys running ( the zoomies ). We are all here for a short time ( humans and pets ) , so must enjoy that time. You will figure it out, you've done a great job so far.

In the 70’s, my friend Mike and I would lie on the beach of our island, and watch a satellite pass overhead every ninth minutes. No biggie now, but it was back then.
