As long as the sub is dual 2 ohm you be be just fine.

@Darryl Vasser given your experience how close do you think it's power ratings are, I'll be running it @ 4 ohms stereo, for now, 4 ohms bridged when I find the right subs, I'd like to do something really cool with the crescendo 15s, the orange basket chrome magnet ones, in weird shape boxes basket out mounting type deal, going to try to build my own fathom, without the price tag, should be fun! Great channel

Please explain a bit more. The menu only goes as low as 30hz. I would like to try and see if this is possible.

I can't say. It might be hardwired into the circuit.

i know this is an old comment but does the crown ce4000 do the same as well? im new to this stuff so i have no clue. i found a mint ca4000 local for 300 bucks. i looked it up a little bit and its supposed to be 1200 watts per @ 4 ohms. you think its worth 300? im planning on using it to power 2 18" ultimax subs in denovo cube 18 boxes. one thing i do like about that amp is it says made in usa. which i thought was pretty cool. even though it may simply be assembled here but either way. i got the 18"s and boxes used as well for 600 for the pair. i couldnt pass that deal up for sure. didnt really have a need for 18's but price was surely right. i bought a rsl 12s and was completely unimpressed w that thing. i dont know how so many gave it rave reviews because honestly its sh!t.

Yes it is. Thank you your input is needed and really appreciated.😃 I did like those amps but i did replace it with the xls1502 xls2502 for the dsp modes and a bit more power.

It can do down to 20 in short bursts but I wouldn't recommend pushing it too far. I have also put it in an enclosure built to hit 19 hz. It does well in that enclosure. I have tested it down to 10 but it doesnt like it. I've since moved on from these but I kept 3 of them. I may one day do a double or triple enclosu 3:04 re.

@@DNDCarandHomeTheateraudio oh ok but i was refeering to the crown amp whether its capable of playing 30 hz down to 10. Some say it does not express itself properly in those frequencies

@@DNDCarandHomeTheateraudio is the amp capable of expressing itself properly at these frequencies 30 down to maybe 10 hz? On the forums i have checked they are saying that the amps dont sound well 30hz below. It sounds better at 50hz up.

I dont have that issue but 30 is as low as it goes. To go lower you need a mini dsp.

I don't think he realizes the amp is 2400 watts not the sub. The subs in total are 2400w peak.

@@DNDCarandHomeTheateraudio yeah bro I myself has crown xls2002 amp, they have quite low damping factor but never dissapoints on bass performance, and does rated power....... I love it, was my first pro audio amp

@@girirajdhyani4661 agreed I loved the 1002 so I bought the 1502 then loved that so I skipped the 2002 and got the 2502. None were a disappointment.

@@girirajdhyani4661 I had to upgrade my subs from ultimax to the CSS SDX12 - 12" XBL^2 Subwoofer. These subs need power without a 25 mm excusrsion. This amp does even more than I expected becasue these subs are 2000w peak each. Coolong fan has never turned on once.
