Two years in a row without the Grand Final being played at the MCG would be too much for some people to bear, would it? When are we ever going to accept the fact that the AFL is a national competition? Despite the Grand Final being contracted to be played at the MCG until 2058, it doesn't have a God given right to be played there every year up until then.

Have the finals in October. Spread the remaining rounds over the next eight to nine weeks. There would be a lot more wriggle room that way and the teams contesting the finals could have their best and injured players cherry ripe.

Gerard waffles and speculates too much and makes it confusing. He says a lot without saying much. There’s no point in speculating. By the end of program, the situation may have changed again.

Disagree tbh. He did a pretty decent job explaining all the complications & nuances of the current situation and the options the AFL had. It was pretty fun to listen to, IMO.

SA's Premier Marshmallow is a joke and Nicola Spurrier is the same flog that said don't touch a footy if you are watching a match otherwise you'll catch the 'Rona. SA politics and the public service is an absolute laughing stock of the nation, talk about being non-commital, indecisiveness, thy name is South Australia.
