This was easily the best video I've found explaining the crucible specifics. I enjoy running the crucible but had a hell of time finding good info really digging into it. Really appreciate all the work you put into this. When in doubt, excel spreadsheet it out. Solid work man.

You have really well structured info. thanks 4 that. 1) You arent awarded any score points if defensive shooting towers last hit enemies, stonewall and vanguard banners dont penalize Your score as far as I know. 2) I didnt know about disabled arcane heroes thanks! does Grava Thul count as well? shes able to cast nulification orbs. 3) I find crucible much more chalenging than SR as in SR on higher shards bosses are spaced quite widely which makes fights more manageable, while in Cr 6 or so nemesises ganging up is very stressful at times. On the flipside Cr has no goddamned environmental hazards.
Most f*cking frustrating thing about crucible and idk why no one anywhere talks about this in general with grim dawn is the fucking dash spam. How is it no matter how I relocate myself the boss will dash all the way around a hill, up a path around a corner and slam into you for half of your HP nonstop over and over with zero cooldown. You cannot actually get away in any circumstances.
Could it be an extra roll on an legendary item depending on your score per chest? I never really did like when they added this to the game tbh as we had to buy it and at the time there was a content gap and this just changed the meta on the forums to Gladiator builds. I support Crate 100% tho and bought all there expansions including crucible, It really is the best single player ARPG of modern times. My only real issue is that when Act 3 boss was finally implemented there was a huge nerf so many casuals complained and the game changed for ever, its never been the same since. Some tweak attempts have been made to difficulty modes but honestly its nothing like the old difficulty and crucible created many gladiator builds spewing and churning out gear at an extreme rate, power creeping every one extremely quickly to the point where the gear was flowing so much and it really diminished the main game and trade value of items. All my hours of gear grinding and personal achievements diminished over night with this easy mode crucible. tldr: if your mad about ARPG games dont play crucible until you got some hours into grim dawn or it will ruin your item hunt experience. Getting your fist legendary through questing or via the game world does not compare to crucible.
Dont do this, start at wave 100 then clear to 110 and cash in, much faster and cost efficient rather than going to 150 wave 100 has a high chance of legendary so theres really no point in going further

I only bought crucible because I love this game so freaking much I want to support the developer. But as I got it I might as well spend 14 levels on it farming for 5 points of devotion. But farming there? Nah, not really my style. I love to just hit and kill and get some loot even if it has lower yield.
