Hello! Thanks for your tutorial. I reached lvl 37 with Lokarr set and Leovinious rings. I just done extra fev easy quests in first town (ultimate) :) Great video!
It's a great option for anyone who wants to shortcut the first 30+ levels. Obviously not for everyone but I've used it a few times. Cheers for the comment, it's much appreciated.
How do you think, how long Lokars set using is ok? In my opinion - till lvl 50 when we can drop and eqip first lowlvl Legendary items. Have a good day :)@@Arcadelife1
@@Gekon_84 In theory you could keep using the Lokarr set to 94 depending on your build/skills and whatever. Recently (probably the past 2 years) I've been doing a lot of fresh starts and levelling 'normally' without merits or XP pots or levelling gear - mostly to produce build guides that demonstrate the viability of a build as a first character instead of relying on a bunch of unlocked gear and blueprints. When I have used the Lokarr set, I've ditched it quite soon so I can start using gear that suits the build rather than getting any XP-boost benefit. It totally depends on what you want to do, but the Lokarr set is certainly useable into Ultimate if you know what you're doing.
I think that you can drop Cultist Orders on the ground and then pick it up, and it should count. Think I saw Protoss doing that, and it should register you picking it up, since you technically didn't loot the item in Ultimate yet.

10/10 - I just tried it and it worked. I stood in front of Direni (in Ultimate), dropped the Cultist Orders (from Normal) on the ground, picked them up and he became an active quest target. Kicking myself I didn't try this in the video. Thanks again.
@@MKcLTM Yeah, there are comments on here from 2 years ago telling me the same thing and I’ve been doing it properly ever since 👊🙂 Actually, if anyone’s reading this now it’s much better to leave it in stash in Normal, then just click on it (pick up, put back) in ultimate to trigger the quest. Don’t keep it in your inventory because it will disappear when you interact with Direni.
So in order to do this you first NEED a character that is UBER-LEVELED and has rep with an FR faction so you can get all the items your level 1 character will need. So it's going to be a while before I can do this.
To do exactly what I’m doing here (ignore the worn gear) you need to get a character into Ultimate difficulty (meaning you need to kill Elite Loghorrean) and unlock Forgotten Gods area in Ultimate (to be able to buy a merit to unlock Ultimate difficulty on a level 1 character) meaning you need to kill Warden Krieg in Ultimate. I’ve killed Ultimate Krieg before reaching level 35 so you don’t need a maxed out character to do it. You can do a lite version of what I’m doing by using a merit from Elite Forgotten Gods - all the rifts in Normal will be unlocked, you just won’t have access to Ultimate difficulty.
Also, you don’t need any FG rep in order to buy merits from the FG shop in the Conclave of the Three. You DO need revered status with Malmouth Resistance to buy XP potions.
I have a hard time unlocking Ultimate. I keep getting one shot at the last boss in elite even though I've got 13k health. I think it has to do with the crystal spawns.
What sort of character are you playing, and how do your resistances look - if any are still under 80% at the Elite Loghorrean fight that’s likely to be contributing to any issues you’re having.
I go into Crucible on level 1 character but really it's easy enough to kill reanimator at level 5 in about 15 minutes of gameplay to open the prison. Same tactic with lore notes works then. Edit - I mean I go into Crucible just to access stash.
There are items called ‘merits’ available from a vendor in first area (conclave of the three) in Forgotten Gods expansion. The elite one unlocks all rifts in Normal, the ultimate one unlocks all rifts in Normal and Elite. They also give a few bonuses such as all inventory bags unlocked. I have a few vids about this posted recently. Watch what I’m saying from 1:30 and it is fully explained in this vid - read the tooltip that appears when I hover over the merit item.
@@Arcadelife1 ok thanks, i rewound the vid like 7 times last night and still never got that. prob cause it was 5am and i was farming SR for hours lol so i was braindead.
@@dustinstump4475 You’ve got me beaten on that, I’ve never spent much time in shattered realm let alone farmed it. The unique set kind of tempts me but then I see some monster infrequent I can grab in 15 minutes and I think, oh well…..
@@Arcadelife1 I'm pretty new to the game, only have one character, lvl 100 2h lightning shaman/arcanist primal strike. I'm trying to get the ultos legendary set. Praying for a blueprint of the hood. Is there a better way for me to get it? Takes me like 7 minutes to get 4-5 legendaries and a few blueprints.
@@dustinstump4475 If you’re hoping for a random drop like that, popular opinion is to do what you’re doing, running through shattered realm. It’s one of the reasons I started getting into builds that don’t need level 94 sets, although I do have several characters with full sets like that, but I’ve played the game way too much!
