► Behind the Arrangement
This is an extra bluesy rendition I did of the famous song "Cruella De Vil," written by Mel Leven for the hit Disney Movie 101 Dalmations. I play this one at Disneyland a lot, and I try to do it differently each time. It's a lot of fun to play and I hope you enjoy!

ive been playing piano for 10 years and ive been told that i have a jazz ear etc. by alot of my teachers but this is by far the best jazz/ragtime rendition of cruella de vil on youtube!! i wish id get to see you in person and get a few tips and tricks on some of those jazz ornaments and solos man, but anyways just sayin your the best jazz pianist on here and im your # 1 fan!! keep on doing what your doing and i wish you all the best in your career! I'm not sure how I ended up watching Disney piano cover videos, but I did, and this was absolutely amazing. As someone who knows nothing about playing piano, it was mesmerizing watching you play. I have a very strong suspicion you made that look a whole like easier to play than it was.

It's because of this song that I've really come to love the Burlesque Blues style. I currently have the sheet music to Donald Ashwander's She Laughed At Him (transcribed by yours truly because the original sheet music was lost) and that song is a lot of fun to play in the Burlesque Blues style, especially with how dark (story-wise) the lyrics are.

You betta play! I will begin lesson 4 of the blues challenge soon. I have learned a LOT with the challenge and aspire to play as well as Jonny. I do have a background in playing gospel & some classical but gave it up 28 years ago. Now, I have an overwhelming passion to play and develop my ear. I highly recommend the blues challenge. I love the Jazz feel to it it's amazing ugh my school is teaching me how to solo and this inspired a more slow for the left and fast for the right than I originally had it. I had a boring sort of fast on both hands
