We were on a cruise when a woman was on a zoom chat in the small lounge. She and her husband were so rude! They were practically yelling while on their zoom call. Totally unnecessary. They were trying to force us out, but we just moved closer and ordered another drink:)

Mildred is awesome. She has a great sense of humor - and still working! It shows that getting to a certain age does not automatically mean they have dementia, etc.

What's the age for unaccompanied minors? Twelve? So technically, anyone born in 1912 to 1924 can be an unaccompanied minor, the same as someone born in 2012 to 2024. I've got to wait 39 years before I can pull this one off. Do you think TSA will have it fixed by then? 😅

Same here. I actually love a sea day or beach club excursion for catching up on my reading and editing in hard copy. I can’t imagine I am disturbing anyone. I am just a quiet middle aged lady with a binder and highlighter. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm torn over the Princess double points...it took me FOREVER to get to Elite and thus far it still has perks, unlike Carnival who often has too many platinum/diamond guests and they can't offer priority boarding/tenders.

Solid B..... I take vacation to unwind from an often high stress job. I turn on my out of office and wish my coworkers the best. The dude who WAS working should know he's not the only one who paid to be on that cruise. He has no right to ask everyone be quiet in a public space..

B - No! I'm retired now, but we took our first cruise - pre-onboard wifi - because it would be an escape from work emails and calls. Mildred is amazing!! Love her! ❤️

A. Used to when i was working. But checked in privacy of my cabin. I stopped taking my work phone with me. Now i choose a cabin away from the gathering areas so when things get too boisterous, i just go to my cabin. I did purchase the wi-fi when cruising as i update family and friends via email (not social media).

Yes, as we go on holidays but our business does not. We always check in at home, while in our room or a private place on the ship. If we do take a call in a public area we move off to somewhere private, so as not to disturb other passengers.

A - Yes, I typically work while on a summer cruise, as I teach summer online courses (they help pay for the trip!). I would not want to try to Zoom, however. Checking email and grading assignments would be the extent of my work.

B, no, now I'm retired When I worked I would approve large wires or payroll ach, if those were needed. All communications were via encrypted email, and the banking information was also encrypted and used a token for banking access. Otherwise, no phone calls, it was vacation, things would need to wait until I was back to work.

A: but just a little. I work full time as a forklift operator for a fortune 100 company, but I also resell vintage clothing online. I do set my platforms to “time away” but I check once or twice a day just to make sure I don’t have any customers with problems. Even though they should understand that I am away for that period, I still like to do my best to communicate with them during that time. I’ve had 100% positive feedback since my first sale 1.5 years ago and after 1.2k sales on one platform alone, I want to keep it that way…. Needless to say, it’s extremely quick “work”
