Lucy, thank you for a brilliant interview! Kate is lovely! (and as usual, so are you, Lucy!) These interview videos are great and this one is super great! 😀I especially love your free-flowing / unrehearsed style....and your honest surprised reactions...some of this even surprised me! Thanks for the wonderful eye-opening info and experiences you both shared! I also love that you both spoke about how working on-board improves your skills and makes you better at your job/profession. 😀Wishing you further adventures and Fair Winds! (P.S. Please tell Kate I can relate to being a "good guy" but also having an eye for what you'd do if you were "forced" to break the rules, ha ha..I'm going-to need to buy her book!)

Excellent conversation Lucy, Thanks. So much props for Medical Teams. When I was a Disaster Responder for American Red Cross 🏥 they had Client Health Volunteers Client Mental Health Volunteers, and the same for the Red Cross Staff/ Volunteers. On my first deployment to Alabama for Hurricane Katrina, where I was part of a huge team that was offering financial assistance to people who had lost everything, and each ARC volunteer was interviewing 10-15-20 people a day and hearing their situations, the ability to have a chat, or get a hug from a Mental Health Nurse was invaluable or even having minor ailments treated by the on-site medical team. Just got to say God Bless You Kate, and those who do your work…(If she happens to see this comment Lucy). Ps. I think I could just about handle people who had been sick, but your excrement story… oh my I don’t know how I could handle that. But of course it’s all part of your training. What did you do in the shop Lucy? Who had the unfortunate responsibility of dealing with that?

When you think TITANIC was just a movie and you realise that actual things from the movie really happen 😮😮 nevertheless I still want to be part of a cruise life. Been in the administrative field for more than a decade😊 hello cruise company I am over here. Thank you Lucy for the informative interview 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you Lucy for another very interesting interview. It would be quite a job working in the medical centre on a ship. Great stories. All the best from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

Great conversation. The concept of learning about languages and knowing what an idea means. In Riyadh it was setting up an appointment for service to our lab equipment and the answer is "inshallah" (if God wills it) - we would say NO, service now so we can do patient care.

Hello Lucy, Ever since I've subscribed your RU-vid channel I've literally watched most of your videos. Its really informative and worthwhile to watch. So anyways, In 2018 I'm so fascinated and intrigued to work in Cruise ship but there was so many setback and circumstances also that time I was sick and gone home. Fast forward, my cousin who worked in Cruise ship in F&B Department as a Chef. I'm more interested than ever. But my main concern is is it really possible to for the recruiter to hire 32 years old ? I had worked in Hotel for 1 year but unfortunately I don't have my experience certificate so yeah
