Hey sailors,
I have been given my joining date for Virgin Voyages and I couldn't be more excited. This video is Part 2 of my packing process. In part 1 I showed you how I select items of clothing to take with me and in this video, we're actually packing those items in cases. I'm giving you all my tips for packing your case for your cruise ship contract.

You need to get yourself some packing cubes, they seriously are a game changer! I never thought I needed them but I gave them a try and was pleasantly surprised, as a regular traveler they make packing so much easer and faster.

Hey Lucy. Great video. Just to expand on the point about splitting everything between 2 suitcases. For toiletries, just double everything. So, if you do lose 1 suitcase, you still have a full set of toiletries in the other. If everything's fine, you'll be on board long enough to go through the extras anyway (and you'll also have a spare toothbrush, when the 1st gets worn out).

My first contract was terrible to pack for, I struggled to fit everything in the suitcase then I worked out that packing cubes would be my best friend for packing for contract #2 but I haven't had to opportunity to use them yet specifically for packing for a contract, however, I did use them when I went on a trip and my luggage was super organized.

Noticed Scarlet is going to be docking in and out Portsmouth over the next few weeks....wish I could stop by to take a gander....amazing ship Best of luck! Looking forward for more content from aboard! Would be great if you can interview some of the non-watch officers especially safety, environment, security, etc
