Since you have no rent or food expenses, stay away from the bars and bank some of your salary automatically into a retirement account, your future older self will greatly appreciate it.
I randomly stumbled on one of your videos and then couldn't stop watching more. Lucy, you are by far one of the most beautiful, majestic and mesmerising people I have ever seen. Absolutely breathtaking and you've made my day. don't ever stop smiling angel x
I'm selected for harding retail and I happened to watch all your videos of Harding retail, I must say your videos are very informative and full of energy.A big thanks to you Lucy Love from India❤
everything depends on ships and mangers and their not always very nice. Some have no clue how to treat people. The money hasn’t changed in years. I did spend 9 years working for them and most the time I did enjoy it and seen some amazing place made some great friends.
I used to be a shoppie for starboard in miami, did nearly 8 years for them, great times of my life and hard times too, ..but wouldn't have changed it for the world..Good luck ;)
I finished 1 contract with Starboard and I absolutely LOVED to work at the Logo Store, it was my favorite place. Promo tables I didn't like at all. Now I am applying for Harding Retail, wish me luck! Just so you know, before pandemic Starboard's basic salary was 500 USD + comission. Now with the pandemic basic salary is 900 USD + comission of 0,1%.
Just saw your comment saying you worked with Starboard. Would you be able to share anything with respect to the experience and how much one can achieve realistically in terms of a monthly salary...
You have been very helpful,im gonna be starting my first contract with a ship(not carnival) early next few months im so excited im part of the "Bar team" i have been working in posh clubs last few years
Your opening sentence cracked me up - I've seen SO MANY chancers trying to pretend the price was wrong so they'd get their stuff at a stupidly cheap price, haha!
Thank you for the video sharing !! I was working at the art gallery department but it’s not right.. is a long story.. but I am getting an interview with Harding !! I am very excited about it!! Wish me luck!! 😊
Hi ! I will have my interview next week at Harding for Retail Sales Associate. Any tips and suggestions you would like to give , i really appreciate that. Thanks
@@attockmrdl yay well done that’s so exciting! Have you enjoyed it? I am completing an application currently but don’t have much retail experience so not sure whether I will be successful. Thanks for replying ❤️
@@tasiajane8805 Thanks for your concern. I really appreciate that. Don't worry about retail experience as they will not ask many questions related to retail. Just few questions about customer services and in case of customer complaints what to do. Also please don't forget to read about Harding history on website as they might ask you what you know about Harding. This is a common question. If you need further guidance please don't hesitate to ask me. Thanks a lot 😊😊
I got an interview with harding and after hearing the salary FORGET. I will much rather take my chances as a bar server with virgin voyages where u make waaay more than that. The only ok thing is u see more of the ports but am about my money. Its a no for me
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m new and intrigued and it’s kinda exciting because it’s something I wanted to do a long time ago so I’m seriously thinking about applying. Btw I’m from Guyana. That’s north east of south America.maybe you can point me to the direction of what I should know as an interested person. Considering where I’m from. And I do have years of experience in sales. And I have love for fragrances too. What you do here is very informative and it’s praise worthy.kudos.
Hi Lucy, I have been watching all your videos and they are super informative, thanks for sharing your experience with the community! I'm applying for Harding for the Beauty Specialist role. Are the salaries you mentioned just on VV or accross all Harding's shops? Thank you!
Genuinely shocked at the salary of around £700 a month. I appreciate you are on a cruise ship and that they are providing food and a room but from the sounds of it you are still working a good few hours a week, 10am till 11pm even 3 days a week is working back at £5/hr. Dont forget your only young once and you will slowly run out of energy so make as much money as you can in your younger years because when you get older it wont be as easy to work long hours. Also dont underestimate the opportunity loss you may have by not having property. So whilst you may clear for example £1000 a month after bonus if you had a job on land that was clearing you £1000 after mortgage and bills you actually (in the long term) have more than that because the appreciation in the property value. Also the fact that every year you work on a ship the cost to get on the property ladder increases so you end up further behind the curve. Anyway, dont want to come across as teaching you to suck eggs or anything you clearly know what you are doing so I hope it all works out for you.
I agree with you. I think most of the People who work on cruise ships just want to travel , or are running away from life’s problems. But considering the Hours that they put in, an the low salaries, it really ain’t worth it. Plus like you said, what about home ownership etc. plus who wants to live in those small Rooms for long stretches at a time. If I’m traveling , I can deal with living on a ship for a Week. But if I have to stay for any length of Time longer than that , it’s going to be a problem.
@@MauriceMamba As a guy who is 28 and has been working since I was 16, I disagree with you, I've spent years working for people, stuck in the rat race, making a nice amount of money... I'm literally miserable, became depressed, let myself go... 10, 12 hours five days a week, all the time in a small room with a few monitors, its just not worth the money. If you get a loan for a house you are basically set yourself to run the rat race for the next 30 years... Its not worth it, money isn't everything... the more money I have, the more miserable I am.
This was great thank you. I'm currently in the process of joining starboard on norwegian cruises. I'm supposed to board the first week of march. If anyone has any pointers or tips/experiences working for either starboard or ncl I would greatly appreciate comments as this is my first time working on a cruise. Thank you!!
Yes Stephen. Only on the bigger ships will you find hand bag specialists. When you apply and have your interview, be sure to mention that you have experience with a particular brand! Xx
Please tell me if I work as a Medi Spa Physician can I earn enough money which is more than base 3200 USD? Is selling pressure is too high and how many procedures I can do in a day?
Hi Lucy, I like your VDO very much. I just want to ask you about the iincome. When you said you made about 1,000 pounds a month, is it included your 700 pounds basic salary. If yes, then you made 300 pounds commission a month? Please advise so I can be clear on this point. Thank you so much.
hey lucy! i am talking to a head hunter about getting a job on MSC and he told me for shop workers the first month is 700 USD after that no fixed salary - just commission - is that true?
Lmao the fact that I’m ex Steiner tryna move to shops 💀💀 I found the right video thank you 🙏🏻I have a question does Harding pay for your flight to the port like Steiner or do you have to get your self there etc ?
@@dipenchhetri4452 there are a lot of variables that play into how much you make hairdressers from what I’ve seen are usually busy because a lot of people wanna do their hair on board even staff , your basic is $800 per month but with Steiner if you have one week cruises you could get paid per cruise so if you don’t meet the sum of $800 for the month then they’ll top you up so it’ll be $800 if it’s week by week you could make $250+ dollars a week , like I said depends on you and if you meet your target in retail , with Harding retail they’re paying in pounds and idk if they pay per cruise it might be monthly from what I’ve seen it does look like more at least in terms of a basic salary it’s 700 pounds
Harding will pay for your medical if it is above $156 and also they will provide you with ticket. If you are in EU full ticket will be provided to you, if outside EU then they deduct $350 from your first salary. Hope this explains to you.
Awesome Lucy🌷《☆》Pretty cool job with possible advancement opportunities👍✔A good Salary is one that leaves money left over for investment once your Bill's & entertainment are paid🖖😎🏈
Sadly, working on cruise ships, and especially in the shops will never be the same again! Social distancing, masks, 60% pax! Also promo events, deck sales and building a frenzy with a crowd won’t be allowed, at least not in the same way as before! I hope I am wrong, as I loved my time on ships, but I fear the worst!
Thank you very much for the knowledge shared, l applied to HARDING and got an interview but before proceeding further!, What is the full salary of sales associate per month??...
@@cookwithfun8282 Commission is calculated on the items we sold and they will give you a percentage for basic products. Mostly jewelry and sunglasses have the highest percentage of Commission

Oh my God. 1000 pounds a month. The pound fell to one dollar😳. Tell your Prime Minister to drop Russian sanctions immediately. Praying for peace. If you don't say anything then nothing changes.
