I'm not 100% sure, but I think that ship is the Oceanos. If I'm correct, that ship sank. Amazingly, no lives were lost, even though the passengers didn't know how serious their situation was until after the entire crew had fucked off.

yes in the Navy we did a 32 degree roll to one side and I heard stories of a Destroyer leaning over 45 degrees. I was in a Typhoon one time.

@@kj4ilk pretty scary I was on a cruiser, a pretty large ship so I didn't get thrown around that much. Destroyers ride pretty rough, I was on one for 2 weeks.

I was in a situation exactly like that cruise ship. It was a large ferry off the coast of New England in a nor'Easter! It was the most thrilling and beautiful moment of my life! My husband and I were two of a handful of people who dared to go on deck. I never felt so alive! 🛳⛴🚢🌬⚡🌊🌊🌊 Oh and, of course, it was snowing snowing and blowing! 🌨🌨 Thank you for the upload! It was wonderful!

It is scary as well as dangerous. But this will be the most amazing thrilling experience they ever faced. A storm in the middle of a vast sea/ocean. Definitely they didn't want this, but no doubt they just witnessed a part of nature and it's power. The Sharp wind, the Huge wave, the Heavy rain 😍🥵

This is nothing compared to the Typhoon I got into off the coast of Okinawa. The ship leaned way over to one side and just stayed there for awhile but finally came upright. Weather report said waves were between 25-30 ft. high.

Swimming in the middle of an ocean by choice is such a wild experience, I can only imagine what it's like if you were just thrown off a boat in a middle of a storm.

I was on the Norway in this storm but it wasn’t as bad as the Norway had a V center hull. 30 ft seas, 70 mph winds. The Norway cut through the waves, not ride on top of them.

I've been on a cruise like that in the Gulf of Mexico. All I smelled was cleanser and vomit. They had puke bags in every hallway of the ship.

7:50 *I never ever was so glad to get off alive, I had eaten 3 Prawn Cocktails before main course of **_Steak A la Carte,_** but glad I skipped the desert **_'Gulab Jamun'_** as it might have left me slightly nauseous. This definitely is my last 'Cruise' from Dover-Calais. I will take the Tunnel next time, it's worth £50 extra*

Wow. I just realized something in common with the ships. On each ship that was battling big waves there was scary suspenseful music playing on the ships PA. Maybe if ships stopped playing scary music the waves will not get so scary. They should mix in sound effects of ghosts going "woooooooo", children crying, crazy laughter and chainsaws. That would make the video more realistic.

WO at the 7:56 mark and then look inside of the ship and what the passengers have to deal with, i wonder as part of the cruise contract what is the compensation amount per person when things like this happen and even if a freak storm does happen, how much is the shipping company going to pay if you end up hurt real bad and never the same again and the internal CCTV footage is there to prove your case?

You are AT SEA!! It's a chance you take! Would you expect compensation for turbulence on a plane or the jet lag that comes after it? The cruise line will help you with medical care if you are injured but they have NO control over nature!!

Our cruise in January 2020 we had some rough sea no storm. The pool sloshed and they had already closed it down and tied down all the chairs. Yes, we walked sideways which is weird. I thought cruise lines were supposed to reroute to avoid going through a storm? We had waves due to a storm not close to us. That would be scary!

If you are on plane and it's about to crash or have some engine failure, the pilot could emergency landing but when you are on a ship amidst deep and cold ocean and it's about to sink, bro the captain nor chief engineer can't have an emergency shoreleave.
