I too have anxiety and get over whelmed every time I think about trying to start planning. We got engaged Jan 3 2019 and since then we've moved cross-country started new jobs, moved into a new place. I just had too much to deal with. I'm definitely going with a cruise ship wedding. Your video was very helpful.

SUPER informative! My biggest fear is the amount that people spend nowadays on weddings and having anxiety makes it 5x worse. I have a friend who didn’t want a wedding and her fiancé does, the cost is literally $30k+. I JUST can’t. Plus another issue is that you get told it’s all about you and I’m learning that it’s NOT lol. I’m 24 and I don’t have that kind of money to please everyone let alone have anyone in debt. The cruise seems to be the best option and it seems the most important people will make it and it’s literally a double whammy for everyone which I absolutely like. Now it’s just getting the Fiancé onboard since it’s not really a traditional wedding. Wish me luck! And again, THANK YOU for all the info given❤️

Congrats! I love this vowel renewal idea! We love to cruise and do so every year. This is worth exploring and its cost affective! We were thinking of doing our renewal in Chicago on valentines day 2020 for and it would be exspensive and w e live in las vegas and family is out there in chicago! A logistical nightmare for us. I felt the exact same way you guys did! I did not want to deal with the overwhelming feeling, but I knew a lot of people didn’t want to cruise. So we ended up with traditional but for our 10 Year Renewal we will do the cruise option!

We got married on a cruise. Best decision we could have made it was beautiful lots of food and drink they even had ice sculpture. And your right we didn’t have a lot of guests I think about 25, some cruised some only came to weddings. And it was stress free. All I had to do was buy my dress and I did have a couple of bridesmaids and my husband got his tuxedo and his crew together. This was 2005. I felt like a queen the whole staff catered to us the whole week, they all knew me by name. We still cruise a lot

You get a non-legal ceremony because you are already married by the Captain if the wedding is done at sea. If in Port, then will be a local officiant who performs the legal wedding. Classic Package allows up to 50 non-sailing guests and unlimited number of sailing guests - up to your own limit that you intend to pay for. Classic package includes 20 guests. Additional guests are an additional fee per person. Includes wedding ceremony and reception with hors d'oeuvres, alcohol, cake and champagne toast. It's nice! My son had a legal cruise port wedding in 2012 and my daughter is having one this 2023.

We’ve been engaged for a year and the thought of planning a wedding is very overwhelming so this puts a twist on things. Thank you guys.

I also got married on a cruise. We were married on freedom of the sea Royal Carribean. I had a full wedding in port Cape Carnaval ( Orlando Florida). We a boarded the ship at 1030. I had about 40 guests . Our guests was able to explore the ship and eat. The wedding took place at 1pm and reception was 2 hrs long .We had an open bar as well with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres . I loved my wedding and was happy with the outcome. My family came on and went off . I also invited the important people that needed to be there. It made my life much easier. I had a maid of honor and bridesmaid and 1 best man.

So Romantic♥️♥️♥️ I want a small destination wedding, on the beach at Sunset. Cruise wedding renewal vows pr Cruise wedding sounds lovely. Never knew. Blessings to you and your family🤩🤩🤩🤩

CONGRATULATIONS ..... I was going to DO A VOW RENEWAL this year ON CARNIVAL SUNRISE which will be the former carnival triumph JUNE 2019 BUT carnival said i would not give a date till I was onboard only issue with that was that I am going on a 10 day cruise and wanted my hair done still going on the cruise but now I'm doing it on the new Norwegian Encore April 2020.

We recently got married for the same reasons, privately. We plan to do the vow renewal ceremony with 30 confirmed family and friends. For memories as far as pics and celebrating. However, did you where a wedding gown and can you have a couple bridesmaids? Were your parents escorted in? Can you really make the vow renewal ceremony like a wedding ceremony for those that don’t know that you’re already married. We doing our ceremony on Carnival Victory.
