Gavin Oliver tripod r154 is a late generation r154 came in the 95+ soarer or chaser. It stronger than a earlier generation and is perfect length. U don't have to extend the shifter to work in a sc300,mk4 Supra or is300. Look them up. I'm going with a cd009 transmission from a 350zhr

I have a gs300 with an vvti aristo swap myself in philly. it's fairly stock right now but, I'm a start shootin up soon. My car was a original auto car, imo if I wanted a fast 1/4 car I would of kept it auto. But all around car manual is the way to go imo. No issues at all with foot placement.
@Mr94soarer that's good too hear brotha thank you for your input, yeah I was looking into a sc300 factory manual but it's just too expensive, I gave driven a manual swapped sc300 before and it did feel quite weird the placement of the clutch and break I would often time accidently step on both
so all your using is the det3? im on a neo with 440s s360 3" exhaust fmic at 15psi made 350 hitting fuel cut. im just wondering if the det3 is a better piggyback. get more out of it. thinking on getting 550s
No, I am using the Ecu master EMU not the Det. The EMU is a full complete standalone management. The DET is a piggyback. Yea you will need bigger injectors to make ay thing more. With 550s u can make 500 but it will be about maxed.

My setup is completely different now. Car should make 800+whp. I will update with videos of the car with the new setup soon. But yes the S360 turbo can make ur goals and spool fast enough.

97 sc300 r154 1jz non vvti stock motor eBay t4 exhaust manifold usdm 550cc walbro 255 3inc exhaust 2.5in intercooler piping big intercooler 1jzgte ecu with map3----put down 379whp at 16psi 93oct that is on a eBay gt35 style turbo so my goal is to hit 500whp daily driven on 93oct hi boost setting but I want to keep the map3 so you think 366 for 500whp daily is overkill?
What's up bro I just swap in a 1jzgte with a R154 in my 93 sc300 that was a automatic . But I can't get it started from the ignition and my cluster doesn't light up
it's flex fuel so I am tuned for either one but I had e85 in when I made this video. I had coil pack issues on the dyno so I am upgrading to 1zzfe coils then I will retune. car is only on 18psi making just under 500whp.
just buy any old sc300/sc400 and motor swap it, no sc came stock with a 1jz, this car has been motor swapped, you can also get a toyota soarer from Japan which was rhd and came factory with a 1jz, but I don't know if those are legal in the UAE
