I had my 2nd celebrity on the beyond!! What an amazing ship! Of all my cruises, this was my favorite! I had such a good time & found a lot of quality conversation from other passengers! The buffet was amazing…….it was so good, i almost didnt go to the formal dining…… yes the ship was mostly adults….and i loved it…….the solarium was a quiet event……i got a lot of rest there………the fact that the gym was open 24 hours was fantastic for me!!! I want to go again…. The end of my journeys end came……and i looked out……& saw the ascents maiden voyage! I hope to try this ship soon……! Thanks for the great review!
Thank you for your Celebrity videos ❤ I'm sailing solo on the Beyond Desember 02 to the Southern Caribbean and Panama Canal. I'm 55, from Norway 🇳🇴 and it will be my second cruise. Last December, I was on the Infinity to the Canary Islands and Marocco. I love travelling solo , but I also would like to travel with other solo travellers who appreciate and need their me-time as much as I do 😂
There was nothing organized the week I went. They had timeslots in the activity schedule for suggested solo meet ups that would be self led, meaning nobody was organizing anything, you could just go gather if you wanted. I didn't go attend any of those.
@SheSailsAway I am sailing her solo in November. I am 53 and 80% over 70 years old ?!! Yikes !! Oh well I am going for the amazing itinerary and want to try a celebrity edge ship. Thanks!
Responding to your closing remarks. I've watched cruise vlogs since 2017, except for during the pandemic shutdown. I would have to be invited or dragged kicking & screamin onto Carnival. I sailed solo on Oasis and would do the rest of Oasis class or Quantum class if I could catch it outside of Alaska. I did Princess once and would do it again and I want to try Celebrity. The only vlogs I want to watch are from these ships I'd want to sail.
Solo cabins… you really want to look out at an orange lifeboat? On Edge class, ocean view is better. Waves right outside your window. Not a lifeboat. Deck 6 on all Edge class has bad views unless you are way forward or aft.
