On Friday, scores of lowrider vehicles and trucks made their way down a 1.5-mile stretch of Highland Avenue, marking a triumphant return for the first time since the city enacted its 1992 anti-cruising ban.

It definitely wasn't 30 years ago more like 15-20. This was part of my Sunday ritual after chilling at Mission beach. Hopefully it stays peaceful unlike the old days.

Raised in Paradise Hills and the corner of 18th was our spot in the early 80s. smoke a lil weed.... drink a lil beer... talk to the girls. Hoot n holla when the homies rolled by. Good times.

These low riders need to come to City heights, cruising down through the tower bar, fairmount ave through Crawford high school and Hoover, el cajon Blvd and all over the streets. My area needs entertainment like these folk with a show, It's just sucks how City heights doesn't get much entertaining like this.

Unfortunately bike lanes are priority. National City Mayor is focused on a "Funner California".....She didn't take the go green kickbacks🤔
