Something that differentiates red velvet from chocolate is that red velvet has buttermilk in addition to the cocoa powder! I love red velvet specifically, so thank you for pushing back against "red velvet is just chocolate."
Thanks for the reviews! On the Oreo cookie - could you tell me if the white chips were white chocolate or were they like, Oreo cream flavored? I’m trying to decide which cookie to get this week and that would help me decide 😂
I don't think it is stale. The moisture from the icing softens the cornflakes...that is why they aren't crunchy. Also, I think that is a cold cookie...the condensation from the fridge will also soften them.
You're definitely from LA, no doubt!! As soon as I heard your voice, I immediately knew it! People from LA all sound very similar. Not sure of the exact area, but it's somewhere in Lower Alabama! 😂
As a crumbl employee I'm cringing at the fried ice cream!! They did not do the topping right and it kills me haha glad you still like it though, but you should try it again at a different location, it's my favorite this wk
No fried ice cream for me, not a fan of the concept. My favorite is Cookies and Cream this week but I also am excited for the smores brownie mystery at my location ❤
People who think red velvet and chocolate taste the same concern me. It think it’s the fact that MANY people feel that way. That’s strange…and fascinating.🤔
Lol I’ve wondered if she had like a tmj disorder and maybe her microphone just picks it up loudly sometimes. I still haven’t tried crumble! We don’t have one near us, but none of these look amazing this week.
i do the same thing, if i really like something i always search up who created or invented it😂 anyways i agree! red velvet is not the same as chocolate😭 i like chocolate & i don’t like red velvet… something abt it idk. i’ve tried to like it bc it looks so good🥲 but my taste buds reject it😂 but overall, i like how this weeks line up is looking!! i’m most excited for fried ice cream & waffle (i’m getting all of them, well except for the red velvet one lol)
Red Velvet doesn't taste like chocolate at all, I would also like to point out that not all chocolate tastes the same, else there wouldn't need to be the moniker "Dutch chocolate, German chocolate," it would make no sense. No to mention dark, milk, etc. Anyhow, point is I hated Chips Ahoy Red Velvet, definitely worst cookies Ive had in the last year, that cookie here did look like actual chocolate that tastes good on camera, but knowing its red velvet, no thanks. If I order Crumbl this week, it will likely be three of the chocolate cookies and cream, which looks like their Rocky Road, and either fried ice cream or waffle, though the syrup thing doesn't make me lean toward that at all.
