They didn't get the original writers of Borderlands for Borderlands 3........ It pains me to have to say that because I don't know if any idiot comes across this and doesn't understand that obviously the writing is completely different from any other Borderlands game and that's why Borderlands 3 sticks out like a sore thumb

However the beautiful thing about Borderlands is that it was every little bit being pure gold!!!! Now okay the game plays fantastic. However Mass Effect 3 had wonderful gameplay! The problem with Mass Effect 3 and Borderlands 3 are these super terrible ass endings that are really hard to look past........ And in the world of Call of Duty being such a huge disappointment when it comes to stupid ass plot, Borderlands was supposed to be a sanctuary away from that. That's the reason why Borderlands 3 is such a massive disappointment. Although the gameplay is fan-freaking-tastic the glaring issue is terrible writing trying to kill characters that we love just for shock effect

And the ending is so heartfelt and wholesome and feels complete. In private in Borderlands 3 I'm sure Tina still has 'missing Roland' moments and that makes her a stronger person and perhaps led her to only go after people whom hurt her family.

I feel, getting the nostalgia bonus of seeing how firestone turned out really pulled my heart strings. I played BL1 for years and i just finished the main campaign for BL2 a couple days ago.. i am very appreciative of the depth that the collaborators put into making Bl2 have emotional connections..
