I love the Crunchi foundation, but have the same feelings about the sample card-I needed the lightest two shades. It's a waste. But the foundation is sooo good. It's actually the only liquid foundation I own since switching to clean beauty. I want to try their concealer next.
Look into Hynt Beauty concealer. I just crossed referenced all the ingredients to Crunchi's blacklist and it's clean... and decently cheaper. It's a sad truth that MLM products have to be marked way up so that the consultant gets paid (which they darn well should) AND the company makes their buck. I may still be going to them for something if I can't find a clean cheaper alternative that has good performance reviews. Research takes FOREVER!
If you are not a statement lip girl, you should be. That color is GORGEOUS on you. Your entire look is flawless and I don’t think your makeup disappears, it just becomes a supporting actor. 🤓
You should try the Josie Maran Vibrancy Concealer! I wanted something with cleaner ingredients compared to the shape tape and far I'm liking it a lot! It isn't as matte as the shape tape, more of a demi-matte on me, but so far so good. I think compared to other green beauty concealers this one performs better.
Crunchi has a New foundation card. They also have an AMAZING concealer called "My Alibi" concealer. The foundation has been reformulated recently and works so well with the cream concealer. I'm wearing it right now as a matter of fact it's just smooth and doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin.
I think it depends on sky type. I just tried the Crunchi foundation and it was dry and flaky on areas of my face. Yes, I exfoliate, yes, I moisturized and primed (all crunchi) so I'm waiting for them to come out with a less matte formula cause I have so much respect for their mission. I liked the primer quite well... but they are made to go together and the primer may not meld well with whatever foundation/concealer I settle on.
I like Fitglow concealer (I'm 56 y/o) and I use Well People finishing powder. It seems to work well for me. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect foundation so I may try Crunchi. I'm buying the "card". I just recently found your videos and I am enjoying the content. Thanks!
How do I go about trying to start the clean Beauty Journey? I feel like this is something like going cruelty free but just one step further. I have been cruelty free on my makeup for about a year now but you're the first RU-vidr that is about clean Beauty and I am interested.💝
I always know I can count on you Kackie! I've been looking into the Crunchi foundation in my search for the perfect foundation. I keep blaming dimethicone for my breakouts, but then I looked at the ingredients of the foundation I used to use by Bobbi Brown and it had dimethicone in it. So either chemo changed my skin (possible) or there is something else in the products I've tried that is causing the breakouts (also possible) OR it's the hormone treatments causing my breakouts (very possible!) Hahaha! The quest continues!
I know they have recently reformulated on the past year I believe. Crunchi advocates are always more than happy to share the New foundation cards. If you wanted to test it out in one area just to see if it's still aggravates you
I have very obviously just recently found your channel. And let me say that i absolutely adore you. In regards to this video specifically... did the bamboo blur powder make you break out at all? I don’t even have sensitive skin and every time I’ve used it I get these huge painful pimples. Just wondering if I’m weird or if it happens to other people too lol
88?!?!?! Gurl, its 110+ here in dubai. i wish it was 88 😣😣 i love the bamboo blur powder, it doesnt dry me out. definitely try out more 100 pure. the base products are awesome!!! 💖💖💖
I tried the bamboo powder and I loved the texture but I found that my contour and blush were splotchy. I have combo skin and it didn’t work as well as the cover effects or mineral fusion. I tried 100% pure concealer and it was a tad too thick for me but I’m liking the Pacifica concealer very much.
Okay! Okay. So you can see it a tiny bit in the time lapse, but I make a kind of frustrated face at one point because I feel like stuff is going on a little splotchy. It blended fine in the end so I didn’t mention it, but I forgot until you said it. Hmm 🤔
Hi Khaki! I recently found 100 % Pure so I’m new to it. Would you consider doing a full face of their products and doing a review? Maybe their products have improved over time? Thanks so much
I’m starting to feel essential oils may be a little questionable in skincare particularly. Never had major skin sensitivity problems before with products but I’ve had to give up on the Summer Fridays jet lag mask because every time I used it, even with other serums and products as buffers or calming things, I’d break out in redness and irritation all over my face. I’m pretty sure it’s the peppermint oil in there that was a little too strong for me. Really sad though cause that was $70 (AU) that I’ll never see again 🤷🏻♀️
I honestly have tried all of these and didn’t love any of them. I also bought C1 and it was ghostly on me. Crunchi badly settled into the lines on my forehead more than any other foundation and I wasn’t crazy about the vanilla scent
Maybe a Cover FX concealer would work? They're more makeup-y than most of the natural makeup brands. Edited to say blerp, totally forgot you already tested the Cover FX concealer, just remembered the foundation. Oops!
Every concealer ive ever used just looks dry, cakey, or it won’t stick to my under eyes. I mostly use the glossier but even that fails me most of the time.
