This video shows you how to make crunchy Babycorn Ellu Varuval or baby corn fry with Groundnut oil.
If you look back and think, whenever we were having lunch or dinner with some side dishes, a Crunchy Varuval has a special spot in that list of side dishes. So we are going to make a fried item which is Baby Corn Ellu Varuval. Here, we are using sesame seeds which is good for health and the tasty baby corn. We are using Idhayam Mantra Groundnut Oil to make this dish. The important thing in this baby corn ellu varuval is, the selection of good quality baby corn and there are some simple ingredients needed for a magical punchy taste and flavour. First, we need to cut the baby corn into even pieces And we'll see how to marinate the baby corn before deep frying.
Here are the ingredients for this Baby Corn Ellu Varuval
Baby corn - 12 nos
Ginger & garlic paste -1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Edible food colour - 1 tsp
Besan flour (Gram flour) - 1 ½ tsp
Rice flour - 1 ½ tsp
Corn flour - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 2 pinches
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Groundnut oil for frying
salt to taste
