My favorite ingredient in your recipes is your sarcasm. Love it when you sprinkle that in along with the mmm hmm... You are so much fun to watch and I am getting healthier by the day as a side effect...
@@joimckinney9687 soak soybean overnight. Next day drain, wash, blend with water till milky. Use 2 cups water for 1 cup soyabean for thick yogurt . Strain soy milk and boil it then let it cool till lukewarm, now add previous yogurt batch like 2 tbsp . Mix it and let it sit overnight in a dark and warm place. Next day it'll be done
Did you feel me hug you through the computer screen? Please say yes. This recipe was my LAST attempt at making crunchy WFPB granola. All the other recipes failed me, but not yours. You're a granola genius!
@@WellYourWorld Instant Pot works wonders with whole soybeans; i.e., one with a Yoghurt setting. Strain through a nutmilk bag to a creamy consistency. 12-14 hrs overnight with a package of starter. I've yet to experiment with this once completed [1/4-1/2C] as a starter. Use the leftover water in pancakes or whatever. 'Cause it's fermented, it lasts longer than the 4-5 days with whole soymilk.
John Otvos I’ve been having problems with my soy yogurt so eager to try your method. Do you use one cardboard container of soy milk per package of starter in instant pot?
Hi Dillon, thx for the granola recipe. I had been making an oil, maple syrup and vanilla based granola for years. When I switched to eating vegan and SOS free i had a really hard time adjusting the ratios to get a crunchy granola. Many batches i burned, turned to hard pebbles or remained too soft 😡😤. After many attempts i ended with a very similar recipe to this one you’ve shared. However... -suggestion- I bake it loosely instead of compacted in a 350 oven for 15 mins, brake them and toss with a spatula and finish baking for 15 more min. Once it has cooled then i add 3/4 c of dried fruit. That way the fruit doesn’t dry up any more and can stay soft and plump ☺️ Just a thought. I only have two baking sheets and i make this batch about once a week yielding aprox 10 -12 cups of granola for a hungry fam of 6 😬 Also, yes, i’d love a homemade from scratch yogurt recipe preferably made without soy. 👋 Monica from Colorado USA
I made a 2X batch of this per your recipe and it lasted about 15 min. So Good. Then I made a 4X batch using half banana and half sweet potato. I like a break from the flavor-forward banana sometimes. I added 4 extra dates. It's really nice. Not as sweet for sure but super tasty and I love the texture (of both batches). Thanks!
I was doubtful of this recipe at first but I tried it. When it dried and had that crunch I was still doubtful. But then I ate it with vegan yogurt and again as a cereal with oat milk. Boom! It’s awesome!
Was thinking about sweet potato because it has a lower glycemic index number than banana and pumpkin. Wondering whether it is worth trying it raw though because sweet potato (like carrots) is edible raw. What were your experiences?
Love this recipe!!! As far as the yogurt do you have a recipe that doesn’t use soy milk?? Love your show!!! You guys are a wonderful inspiration to eating healthy and clean. Thank you !!! Videos are great!! (5pm)
I love your videos. YES to the yogurt video. I make granola and will definitely try your recipe. Looks delicious. Favorite combo, plain yogurt and granola. I just recently started making yogurt again. I've been using EdenSoy Organic just soybeans and filtered water but it's spendy for one carton. Planned on making my own soy milk just for yogurt to cut costs. Can't wait to see what you are making.
I've made this! This is my second time making it today. Not a huge fan of cinnamon so I added unsweetened Hershey Special Dark cocoa powder, toasted flax seed, sunflower, almonds, toasted sesame seeds, pecans, and white raisins. I hope it turns out good.
Hi Anne we did a cooking show on how to make your own soy yogurt at home! You can become a member if you are not already and learn more here: wellyourworld.com/cookingshow
So it's April 2021 and I can't find a "how to" on making yogurt. You said you were going to make one. Am I right? I've had no luck making vegan yogurt and your yogurt looks amazeballs! Please show us the way!
I'm in the UK and this cup business is confusing. We don't have cups and if we do apparently a UK cup is different to a US cup With a Google search some say its 250ml and some say 237ml and some say half a pint. But I've a suspicion that US and UK pints also differ Is there a kind person in the US who is able to take one of their cups and actually measure the volume for me ? x
Yes on the yogurt! I would Love to make my own in my Instant Pot but I don’t like the idea of using those carton milks and yogurts for anything. Would love to know how to make it from scratch. 👍🏻
Not only can the pit in the date mess with your processor.....it REALLY can break a back tooth ....! OUCH...also kalamata olives....dear co-worker needed a crown due to pit left in kalamata olive appetizer! BE CAREFUL!

If it's a little bit drier, you can dump in some whole apple sauce too. Core the apps, soften with steam, then blend with the skins for all the C vitamins.
Hi Michelle, it has to do with breaking open the hard slippery little buggers to get to the inside of the flax seeds...otherwise they just pass through the digestive tract whole. Chewing (which is challenging because they're so tiny and slippery), or grinding is a good option. I like the idea of adding both some ground and whole flaxseeds to get all the benefits! 😊
Have you ever tried to add a little chocolate to this? I'm trying to figure out what the best way to add chocolate to this is. The kind that would turn your milk into slightly chocolate milk.
My oven is horrible when it comes to baking granola. It burns it or it’s not crispy enough. I ended up baking for half the time then turning off the oven and turning on the oven light and leaving it alone for a couple of hours. I will get this sooner or later. 🙄
Please i would Love to see how you make your yogurt !!!!! with Love :) :) i don't buy yogurts as they all have something you don't want. So Please Dillon, i love your show and hope this is Inspiration enough to get you moving !!! LOL
