Your Voice is so clear man. And you covered very important parts of french defence. THANK YOU very much. This helps me a lot to improve my french play and tomorrow tmt. Thanks again.
Hi, I love your videos! They are easy to remember and entertaining and informative. Maybe, just one suggestion, modern defense soon? It's a fascinating opening yet there are basically no videos on it. Just a suggestion :) Either way, keep making videos! You are helping the chess community a lot!
Yo bro, I play OTB tournaments and I used to play the modern. Its a terrible opening, trust me I know from my terrible experiences. Don't play it ever in your life, you regret it. I'm happy that I'm alive to tell the tale bro 💀💀💀
I love these videos, ever since 2019 ive been living in a deeply depressive state. However these videos have SAVED me. Every time Volclus uploads it is a beautiful sight to see. I cry tears of joy as i am EDUCATED on the inner works of chess. I was SHATTERED when I learned he died in 2996 as a result of not being raptured up to heaven like those who practiced under god. R.I.P.
Thanks a lot, man! Now I know how to play the French Defense, and I'll start practicing. Looking forward to watching your other openings videos to learn more!
Your videos are very educational. I've been playing the queen's gambit for awhile now and I've gotten a better grasp of it thanks to you.😁 My issue is that I have quite the difficulty playing black against the queen's pawn so I would appreciate it if you could make a video for an opening against the queen's pawn. One against the london too😁
Thanks man, I play the French (my best opening, amazing as I can play e6 vs d4) and tbh got too lazy to watch all of Hanging Pawn's theory videos. May do that eventually, but you helped me know what to do in the schlecter and advance main line. I normally play the Rubinstein vs the tarrasch, paulsen and 2 knights, but I know where to go if I want to learn more fighting variations.
Your videos are incredible. Thank you for everything you are doing for the chess community. Can you please consider doing videos on English opening (c4) and/or Owen defense (b6). Thanks for considering.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Can you make a beginner/ intermediate Ruy Lopez video? Maybe system-based, or a few different systems (eg. Anti-Berlin against Berlin, maybe the same style setup against all closed Ruy Lopez variations) just to make the Ruy Lopez a bit simpler and easier to play. Thanks, and again, Merry Christmas!
My next opening suggestions; English , King's Indian Defense , Catalan. Much appreciated on these videos brother we need to make a statue of yours for your splendid efforts on your videos. Thank you very much
Hey mate! Are you taking a break? Haven't seen a new video from you in a while. I miss them dearly! Anyways, merry christmas (if you celebrate it) and hope to see you back eventually
I did not see the Winawer variation and the McCutcheon variation here. The play in those variations can get complicated with black having to sacrifice the exchange. Unless you know what you are doing it can get nasty
I'm a bit late for this aren't I? But if I can still help, the French is more dynamic than the Caro Kann in general, but you can still get fighting games with either. However if you are an attacking player and you need sharp positions, play the Sicilian defence (Accelerated Dragon or Taimanov are my suggestions) or a hyper modern opening like the Pirc, Modern, Owen, or Alekhine. None of them are that sound, but it's almost guaranteed that you will have a significant prep advantage unless you are at high level.
Some of the moves you are suggesting in this video arent very accurate. For example when u Na4 then Qa5+, The Knight isn't forced to go back to c3 white can just play Bd2 and your position is quite unpleasant. Other than that most of the theory is correct. Thanks for the Video!
