I started kinda thumbing through the vid & stopped right where you said "Gargling Menstrual" 😂 I knew than I had to start watching from the beginning. Great vid bro, definitely love me some death doom as well. Ill be checking some of these band's out for sure. If I could recommend a couple band's I think you might dig as well Catacombs - In The Depths Of R'lych (some of the most heavy horrific atmospheric Lovecraftian death doom I've ever heard) & a bit newer band from Ohio called Night Hag -phantasmal scourge record. They have a bit of an autopsy, Incantation,necrophagia type feel to there musick. Great vid as always bro "Cheers & Hailz"

Just a beer nerd thing, they say fresh fruit meaning they used whole fruits cut up in the beer as opposed to fruit purée or extract. Sounds like a delicious beer. Dude I just got into the gathering! Is this stuff like a mix of stuff from that time/era/decade and recent buys-purchases? With the Mindrot and Memento and the Blue Grape… remember Metal Maniacs time for me. And then you got some of the obscure stuff that’s seems like blind buys, bin binges bargains and label confidence.
It's all old school 90's stuff I just dug into my collection to listen too, all old purchases. Have a bunch of Metal Maniacs still, gonna do something with mags in the future so stay tuned! Cheers
Awesome picks; I have most of these releases and some of them are still my all time favorites…The Gathering, Pyogenesis, Nightfall, and also very cool to see Misanthrope mentioned! Nothing else sounds like Misanthrope-that album is one of a kind…kudos to Philippe (Misanthrope), who runs Holy Records, for publishing so many amazing albums during the early-mid 90s.
Yea dude don't think I've ever been disappointed by anything released on Holy. Don't always reach for that Misanthrope but it's a great listen when I'm in the mood for something truly unique. Cheers!
Gotta remember a few of these. Holy Records has a lot of great releases I'm always on the lookout for their early releases at least. I bought the slimcase Winter ep not long back. Nice to see the vinyl of The Spooky Gloom that definitely needs a reissue. I played Resurrection Cemetery on one of my vids lol. I have a Misanthrope split I forget who with but yeah they're definitely different 😅 one I need to have another listen and see what I think of it now. Think that's only the second time I've seen anyone show Thergathon not sure what label my copy is on. Been after that Pyogenosis for a couple of years now. Lots of cool stuff as always Dennis 🍻

Nice one Dennis. A lot of great releases you show here. The second Godsend is not very good at all. Dan returned on vocals for the third album, two steps up from the second, but not near as good as the first. The Gathering, Always is their first album, went on to just female vocals on the third album, called Mandolyn, it is a really good album, but more of a gothic vibe on it, great vocals by Anneke. That Therogothon is great, slightly underproduced..... Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
That Godsend has some seriously heavy songs and then some weird stoner songs, def a odd vibe for sure. Love the first one! Gathering rule but haven't heard the third one. Later Rog!
Saw Paramecium back in 1991 in their demo days when they played with Mortification and 2 other preachy Christian bands. They weren’t as heavy as that album but they were the highlight and the big band Mortification were crap
