A short story of a big journey for the Townsville local Emily De Rooy.
Finding CrossFit in 2018, Emily has stayed in her own lane with her head down working hard and her rankings show her efforts in the short time in the sport.
At 22 years of age Emily qualified for the 2023 CrossFit Games, after coming in 3rd at the Oceania Semifinals - Torian Pro.
Taking the stage in Madison, WI, at the 2023 Crossfit Games with some of the legends of the sport, this was Emily's third big individual competition appearance.

3rd Fittest Oceania Woman 2023,
39th Fittest Woman in the World 2023.
And the best is yet to come.
