That wasn't any toothpaste ether. That was 1947 toothpaste! Probably had some form of proto-acid in it that docs thought strengthened your gums that started the whole trip.
Cry, I missed this so much. You have no idea. Man...I love video games, but I don't really enjoy playing them, you know? I suck, really. Even those with just basic point and click stuff. But I love watching people playing them, and I love watching YOU playing them because you don't scream all the time, you respect audio narration and it just feels like I am watching a tv series with episodes. It is just wonderful and I love you for putting so much effort in what you do. It also helps me improve my english because it's not my mother language. I learned a lot just by watching you play video games. Thank you for this. Thank you for all of it. Thank you.
Hey me too! I can't play video games but I love watching people play and Cry's videos are especially nice to watch, I get to enjoy the game and its story that way.
Cryaotic i can play videogames, and i usually cant watch lets-plays because i see what they should do long before they see it, but with cry, hes just so chill i cant get annoyed.
Cry sounds like the kind of guy who's really good with kids. Not surprising since he has a younger brother, but still, it's kinda endearing to watch someone who takes a child's imagination and just runs with it
Cry's confusion over the tennis ball in the garage genuinely made me laugh, since my grandpa has tennis balls shrugs up like that in his garage and I always wanted to play with them. It's to signal when you've pulled your vehicle enough into the garage, whether to prevent you from hitting the wall or to keep space within the area.
This might be kind of obvious, but my theory is that Molly ate fake holly beads, started hallucinating, wrote in her diary about the things she saw, started choking, couldn't breath, and died. I think she was delusional and her hallucinations kind of masked the fact that she was dying. You can kind of see the progression when she says she started choking on the mama rabbit and when she starts suffocating as a shark immediately after. You can also see her real life anger toward her mother seep into her hallucinations. She starts out hunting a mama bird (clearly her mother's favorite animal) then hunts and eats whole a mama rabbit. Just my theory. . .
Very accurate in many respects. The only thing I offer is due to it being 1947 they would have decorated with real Holly plants and the berries are toxic. This is what would have triggered the hallucinations, eventually lead to vomiting or choking. This explains the progression of imagery for the various characters and scenes. The shark on land can survive only short term it essentially seems like a parallel to her inability to breathe. Likely she manages to turn herself or gain some level of brief consciousness as she concludes "I was myself again".
For future reference, the tennis-ball-on-a-string-thing in the garage is something people use just to make sure they're parked far enough into their garage, but not too far. When the ball hits the windshield, you know when to stop. I don't personally have one in my house, but I know a couple friends who use them.
Cry always finds intresting videogames to play, that I have never heard of: this, the magic circle, momodora, dreamfall chapters... and thats why he is my fav youtuber!
I keep coming back to his play throughs like reliving old memories. I know something bad happened but I don’t intend to find out exactly what, don’t want it to ruin things for me. From his videos at least he seems like a sensible person. I hope he rights his wrongs, makes peace and moves on with life.
We will ALWAYS forgive you Cry. We love you. Anyway, you are the perfect person to play this game. You won't talk over the important bits! Also, Be prepared to FEEL.
From the thumbnail this seemed like a horror game, which I was down with. As this episode progressed I continued to be a little on edge but after that whole dream sequence I can tell this is just going to be a quirky whimsical kind of game instead of one laced with jump scares, and I'm really liking how it's turning out so far!
I mean the littel girl ate poisonous berries and downed all that toothpast, as well as ate some hamster food which probably isn't too good either. The kid most likely felt horrible, and her stomach must have hurt pretty bad giving her fever dreams which she wrote about probably before the poison killed her since everythings says she died when she was 10 years old.... so.... you just watched a little girl on her deathbed. I'd say that's some horror right there
I come back and watch your videos every once in a while. I feel so guilty that I find comfort in watching your videos still, the same way I did while I was growing up. Heartbroken.
@@封嶺 Yeah man, you're not alone. I still rewatch playthroughs like The Cat Lady, Catherine, and Night in the Woods sometimes, as well as listening to his old creepypasta readings. There's no denying that Cry was good at what he did, and he did make very important contributions to this era of RU-vid content. I don't feel like I'm excusing what he did by reliving the nostalgic moments of my childhood like this.
Bacon Incarnate Me too man, so annoying. I'm just sitting there and then I'm a shark. Sometimes I'll be on land too, and the people start screaming, and I'm just sitting there, confused shark, sipping my coffee.
Cry, the tennis ball is used so that they know how far they have to drive into the garage so that the car is all the way in. Leaves space for the tools and such in the other part of the garage.
Seeing that made me smile. All my life, the only person I ever knew who did that was my Granddad. It's not weird! Other people did that too, I'm so happy! :D
I suddenly have developed an insatiable lust for more of Cry playing this game. I don't care if anybody else has their whole playthough uploaded, I want papa Cry's playthrough. I feel safe watching these. It's kinda like being tucked into bed with brothers and sisters listening to Papa Cry read us a bed time story. even though it's scary as shit, we don't really know it because his voice is so comforting. We missed you Cry.
Colorful Crow well i use this playlthrough as my bedtime background noise. Crys voice is just sooooo soothing and how he talks is just soooo comforting. IM NOT SAYING his playthroughs are boring! its just his effing voice man... beautiful
Dude, listening to you talk should be an official way of healing all kind of anxieties and stress. There is something in your voice so soothing that makes me chill no matter how stressed or tired I am. Good stuff!
Yes! Yes! Yes! I just heard about this game recently and thought: "I want Markiplier to play this". Then I saw a "teaser" and said: "NO. This is a game for Cry". I'm so happy you're playing it. Edit: the tennis ball is so the person parking doesn't park too far into the garage or not far enough and the door shuts on the back of the car. When it hits the windshield it means you parked just right to fit in the garage.
i think what i like about cry the most is that he knows how to blend into the mood. he screams and goes insane at the right moments and goes soft and emotional at the right moments. he looks at details because he knows theyre important but doesnt over think anything to make the gameplay boring. this is why i always come back to him.
ok for starters... Molly only said it started with her mom sending her to bed without dinner. But she never said how long she was locked in her room. Even as a child, one night without dinner should not cause so much hunger. So my question is HOW LONG WAS SHE LOCKED IN HER ROOM? Secondly I love this game so much thanks for playing it
This is gonna sound weird, but I'm still gonna watch his old videos, knowing the monster he is now, because these are old memories, and I won't like a monster like what Cry really was take those good memories away
oh cry, we don't need to forgive you, there isn't anything to forgive. we understand, and we aren't angry. we appreciate you and all of the work you put into doing this. sure there have been some upload issues, but we're still here and always will be.🙃
"I'm not in architecture or anything but this doesn't seem very structurally sound" lmao that was such a polite way to say it. It looks like it's about to fall over XD
The idea behind the tennis ball on a string in the garage, Cry, is that when the car taps it you know youre in far enough that the garage door wont close on your car and that you wont accidentally hit something in the garage that may be hard to see from in the car. Idk why but it seems to have been much more common with grandparents and ultimately a thing that had died out mostly a whole couple generations ago.
the editing for this was so good. i really like this so far and im glad youre still hanging around youtube, i love these kinda things. keep it up homie g
yea he likes to use the 3d transition thing like at 6:48 and i liked the black and white thing with the music at the end. im sure he spent a while editing it, because he always works hard on his vids.
YES I FORGIVE YOU. I'M TOO EARLY TO BE ANGRY. *pauses cry's playthrough of firewatch that I'm currently watching for this* *gets angry again because THIS IS NOT MONETIZE* *passive AGGRESSIVENESS ensues* p.s. i missed those outros too. :) p.s.s i replayed because there was a comment on my comment AND THE ADS ARE BACK HALLEFCKINLUYA *MORE PASSIVENESS aggressiveness ensues*
He's said that on RU-vid he'll do One-shot videos, more videos of just goofin around with friends or no friends, wants to do more Reads, and that for playthroughs, he will do short games that usually require less than 15 videos for the games, while on Twitch he will do usual Friday streams, Saturday streams, and the games that are much much bigger than 15 videos on RU-vid.
Well he had issues with copy claims and stuff, without a network it's hard to deal with that. If you read the description it says it's still not sorted out and from his response on twitch it sounds like we will have to wait a week or two before everything is good, hopefully not longer. But yah, he want to get back into making videos and hopefully we'll see them daily again.
A little story: My high school is run like a day-long free period/study hall/whatever you call it. We had the freedom to choose where we work on our assignments every day. On the days I choose to focus alone, or those days I felt lonely, I'd choose to let this gameplay play in the background tab. When I was lost, it immersed me. When I was down, you made me laugh. For that, I thank you for getting me through the last four years of self-directed learning. I hope you find some sort of peace, as you have granted to me. I hope you do what's right, in terms of righting your wrongs. Take care.
i keep coming back to this playthrough because something about watching you play it with the content of the game itself is mesmerizing. a lot of games and songs were introduced to me because of ya boy cry and like damn he impacted my life pretty hard
THANK YOU CRY FOR PLAYING THIS! This has to be one of my favourite games currently and knowing how calm you are it'll just be an emotional rollercoaster that I will much enjoy
I keep returning to this series because I've fallen in love with this game and I adore your commentary alongside it. This is one of my favourite walkthrough of yours, Cry. I can't wait to play it myself one day.
Cry voices almost all the things I be thinking as Im playing a game. Ive been gone for awhile but its fun to come back and watch this. Cry your voice is so calming to listen to even with a migraine. **Sits and watches all the videos**
Im so so happy to see a nice game that cry is genuinely into. I'm going through a lotta stuff right now and these videos are like having a calming, kind friend in the room ❤️
Honest to god this morning i saw this game and said to my self, oh i wish cry would play that he might like it,... and then i see this!!, thanks dude! arigato! :)
