I have seen a few comments about the whole "Epstein", Jailbait, etc. Even I made a comment or two. However, this song has more of an innocence to it I feel than the typical songs out there nowadays (or with what's going on in the entertainment industry). The age of 16-18 has always been controversial - especially in high school. Even 18-21 has its controversies. We've all been there - I don't care who you are. Even at these ages, some of us WERE more mature for our age, and not necessarily for the sexual side of it - but even the platonic side of it. So when I hear "I know you're not a child, but the one I thing I love about you - your style", I feel it's more of an admiration. And in return, offering a safety to that person - innocent admiration/love; not the sex trafficking and Nickelodeon/Disney horrors we hear about nowadays.
