They really didn't raise prices, that's just inflation. That said, even in 2014 this was way overpriced as the materials are literally $3. Its not even that great of a back panel system either, as the video shows how he struggles attaching it.
So I'm curious... You're wearing gloves in your reviews. You have all this expensive kit because obviously you are a mil-sim type guy. I'm sure your wearing tons of stuff on your 2nd line that you probably don't need. But then you question why guys would run around with bolt cutters in an airsoft game??? I'm pretty sure you just answered your own question.
If you still have this pack, would you be willing to sell it? I don't like how the 2.0 hangs below the bottom of the platebag and comes with the 2 horizontal mag carriers.
I'd like to ask, what is the point of having these kinds of packs on Plate carriers, if you can't get to the pack unless you take the carrier off? You can drop a backpack if you need it, but how do you get stuff out of a bag like this when its attached to your back?
the stuff in a plate bag like that isn't for you to use, its for your buddies to use, in a military, "combat zone" type scenario your battle buddies will need use of your kit just as much as their own and vise versa. most people use them as spare ammo carriers as well as large med bags, even then these are mostly only used in quick operations, kind of like how the air-force PJ's are set up, light compact carriers with mostly just essentials, ammo, ifak, radio, flares, etc. and the plate bag would be for a serous procedure if the helicopter is destroyed or has to wave off without the soldiers. long story short its not your kit, its your whole squads kit in a plate bag like that.
