Can I just say, overall throughout your episodes, the way you guys speak so highly of your wives always blows me away. I genuinely cannot think of any other media or people I follow/watch/listen to that speak so highly of their significant others and of marriage in general. You have genuinely renewed my hope that some men really do love and respect their wives. Thank you for your examples of this!
Hey, don't lump us Android, wired headphones, and Scott tissue paper using people with the Roseart users. We may be old-fashioned, late adopters who are on a budget, but we know where to draw the line, and we draw that line with a good Crayola. 😆
Hey Jake and Brad! I’ve been a listener for a couple months, and this is the first time I have commented. A couple weeks ago I started listening to your podcast from episode one. I wanted to see what things were like before/when Jake met Rachel. I had to comment when you guys went back and listened to the first few seconds of your first episode and I thought “hey I just listened to this”. It has been such a joy to listen to the first 20ish episodes so far and to hear Jake refer to his future wife almost every episode, knowing now that he is happily married to Rachel. He had no idea what was coming. Also, in the episode I’m currently listening to, Jake just discovered that he loves pickle ball-and look at him now! So much has happened in the last four years! With the podcast in general, you guys have come so far. I’m weirdly proud of two guys I’ve never met before and now even more hopeful that I will someday have an amazing love story too. I’m so excited to hear about Brad and Kathryn getting pregnant with Beau & Rosie, the debut of the amazing theme song, the time when Jake meets a girl at Top Golf 😉 and many more amazing life happenings that you guys will share. Thank you for letting so many strangers share in your joy. I hope you guys read this and dwell for a bit on how much of a blessing this is for you, your family, and your listeners. - Isabel P.S. I’ve got a silly crush on Isaac because you guys talk about him so much. Is he single? 😂
As you were talking about Fortunato Chocolate, I'm sitting in my office thinking about how familiar that sounds. Turns out, their chocolate shop is a 2-minute WALK from my office here in Issaquah, WA. That's CRAZY!!! I'll walk over there during my lunch break today!!
Cried hearing Brad read his Facebook update from 8 years ago. My husband and I are in a very different type of new season, with our first baby (11 days old today). It was such a hopeful reminder in the midst of these challenging days of the good God has for us in the days and years to come. Grateful for this podcast - the silly and the serious parts!
😂 Brad, congrats on finding your wallet!! 🎉 I used to have the cardboard pencil boxes and secretly wanting the Hello Kitty and Lisa frank pencil boxes. I still get excited thinking about that huge crayon box with a sharpener in back.
Sometimes these s'mores make me question why I listen to you guys, then you do stuff like geek out over school supplies and I remember that's why I love you guys 😂
Was 20 minutes in to the podcast and had to come watch the video to see Brad’s face during the Fortunato Chocolate ad and RU-vid immediately gave me an ad in Spanish (I never get ads in spanish) and I’m convinced it’s because of all of the spanish that was spoken in your Fortunato ad 🤣 Love me some Mondays and Wednesdays because of you guys! ❤
New ghosty to the pod about few weeks ago and been going back from the beginning watching/listening while waiting for the new episodes! And I absolutely enjoy and love this podcast!! I’m hooked! ❤❤
Timon earned my vote at 47:07. I have a pilot G-2 (penstylus version), not the standard .7mm version. Brad said you're not using it for math, but I just did my entire summer math course with that one pen. I absolutely love it, and have no idea how I first found it, but now it's the only pen I use. What an incredible pick.
I literally gasped when I heard Brad say “Does anyone still use 3 ring binder’s anymore?” I am a sophomore in high school and I have a 2 inch binder that is bursting at the seams from all my classes. Binders are essential to surviving highschool and I’m a little disappointed Brad didn’t pick them for s’mores
Tell your wives that I agree with them about Barbie, and since no one else does, it was genuinely a breath of fresh air to hear that someone else had a similar opinion. So them saying their thoughts actually made my day.
100% agree with you guys about massages! I want to feel good afterwards. I tried deep tissue once and was crying in pain telling her to stop. I was sore for over a week! No exaggeration here, I experienced less pain during my unmediated, natural birth of my 8 lb 8 oz first baby.
Just want to say, even though I didn’t agree with Rachel & Kathryn’s opinion of Barbie, I think they’re both amazing women & and am so looking forward to getting to have a conversation with them at the rooftop hang! ❤️
Hattie wins because she actually gets to use her supplies. Timon... SO close, if only for the Ticonderoga pencils (my go-to are the black with white eraser) and that magical, mystical ink pen? Yes! My all-time favorite: the exquisite Paper Mate ball-point pen, blue ink... it was perfection. They don't make them anymore. :(
Mr. Bombastic, very fantastic! 🇯🇲 it's also always so hilarious to see Americans try and do a Jamaican accent. 😂 all that matters is that you're trying your best... but it's still really funny. 😂 I love this podcast so much!
Former massage therapist here. Generally the term "masseuse" has a connotation attached to it. I'd stick with massage therapist. As far as the cheek massage, seems a bit excessive. Not that he was trying to be weird but it is. lol. It is normal to massage the gluts (cheeks) but I tried to keep it subdued and usually I avoided that area. There are many techniques that can be used that will give the same relaxation without "getting in there". Unless someone is having lower back pain or are a runner, there just no need to be aggressive with that part of the body. Always feel comfortable telling the MT that you want a traditional relaxation massage, no deep tissue and communicate to them when they are giving too much pressure. They really will not be upset or offended. They should appreciate the feedback, especially if they would like repeat clients.
I worked at an Office supply store for 4 years - the pencil cases made completely out of a single zipper are the worst! Not fun zipping a bunch back together before the store closed for the night.
I wish I could come to Grandeboo 😭 but I can’t imagine how many years of Patreon I could get for the cost of flying from Melbourne to Kansas and back 😂
