So much hostility coming from the hype crowd. ANY expression of disappointment is immediately being told to "stop crying!" These mfers are a cult at this point. We all want the game to be good, but some of us are seeing shit for what it is.

If we spent money with a company over years or even decades and we KNOW theyre track record from playing the game and those who have worked there have stated the malaise of the higher ups not giving a damn about the game's play/features; we are well within our right to be skeptical or just not be hyped about the game. Complaining about aspects that dont work, are meta or lack immersion is essential to get the games closer to greatness

Just DiVine, I feel what you are saying, but what you have to understand is that there are a lot of sheep in the world. EA understands that, that's why they have the Eric Rayweathers and the other Big Madden content creators to push a narrative, and as you can see...it worked ✌🏾

I think the core issue with the video game industry honestly is that there are more ADULTS that play video games now more than ever. Adults are more critical because we have nostalgia and simply have seen more so we’re harder to impress. Generally adults suck the fun and innocence out of things. My little cousins play madden and 2k sun up to sun down just like i did they will grow up looking at these maddens fondly, just like i did from my childhood. Fundamentally a video game that is consumed by just as many adults as children will be picked apart and analyzed over and over

Tell the truth bro Let’s keep our expectations low. Game does look good but as you said what about draft classes? What about road to glory/ campus legend? What about being able to edit players who didn’t want to be in this year’s game. I don’t care about ultimate team. I want to be able to create my own thing

Keep speaking up for the simulation sports community. We share the same frustrations, tiredness, and nuisance. From the game company we grew up loving with their underhanded marketing methods coupled with bad gameplay, to the Kool-aid drinking fanboys of EA and 2k. Just let those taking things personal, blowing things out of proportion (making it a personal fight with you by personally attacking you instead of making complaints against companies who hand us unfinished products), and insulting you over social media in the comments over the stance you take involving the gaming industry be. You have listeners who aren't satisfied with the product we receive year after year who support you.

I've been on both sides of the coin and I absolutely understand the apprehension of EA and their business practices, cause let's be honest, they are greedy scumbags. But in the case of this game, what irritates me is that people just don't do their own research and it feels like some folks almost want the game to be mid to justify their disdain of EA/Madden, because everyone always wants to be right. The self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm sure people will watch gameplay today and screech 'madden reskin', dismissing the fact that there were always going to be similarities because it's built on Frostbite. Missing features is disappointing but legally, if they have to do it to make the game, I'd much rather have the game.

Great title. Didn't even need to watch the video to know what it's about, because people use it on *me* all the time too. (I still watched it, don't worry) People just use this as a way to entirely dismiss any points brought up in the video because they're incapable of properly arguing their point, even if they know their stance is one of disagreement. You could say that they're "whining, complaining, and b*tching" about a perceived error in presentation or about a video which is supposedly just a bunch of inane whining. Which would be really awkward for them because it would point out that they're operating on principles literally identical to what they're accusing you of. These comments are just 'get-out-of-discussion-free' cards. Why waste time thinking of counter arguments when you could just do this instead, it's easy. The problem is the dismissiveness of this type of comment is killing discussion, which is the primary purpose of videos like yours.

I, along with a few other informed commenters, said it on your last video and I’ll say it again: the reason they had to remove the ability to export draft classes is because all those real world players they’re able to feature in the game this time around would have to be signed to the NFL Players Association before they can have their name and likeness appear in any officially licensed game. As it stands right now, if they’re not members the NFLPA they won’t be appearing in Madden. Ironically enough, you actually allude to that being the case at 12:45 when you mention Marvin Harrison Jr.’s absence in regards to Ultimate Team. The same principle applies on the coaches side with the NFLCA, that’s why you never saw Bill Belichick appear in Madden after 2002. I imagine the reason exporting draft classes was never an issue before was because the game never shipped with any named players. Yes, you could go in and edit the rosters and create all the guys you wanted to and nobody would stop you but the fact that that’s something that had to be done on the end user’s side gave EA some leeway. That leeway doesn’t exist now that they’re shipping with named players already in the game. No, you can’t just “sprinkle them” in a draft class with generic players; they’d all have to be generic players until the real life draftees sign with the NFLPA. And while I understand the “when there’s a will there’s a way” mentality, and actually somewhat agree, I also understand why the developers might want to be extra careful about that sort of thing considering why they had to take that decade long hiatus in the first place. Look, I get the frustration with EA Sports football titles and your apprehension certainly isn’t without merit-I haven’t touched Madden since Madden 13 and don’t plan on changing that anytime soon-but in this instance I think it’s less a matter of EA removing features just to reintroduce them later and more a matter of having to make adjustments based on the current state of affairs.

The gameplay should help it and all but from what I’ve heard, it does feel shortened of its potential. Alas, I don’t think anyone will take the spot unless EA goes bankrupt or someone has interest in doing sport games that aren’t for something mobile or etc.

What would it take for the doubters to buy the game? It's one thing to doubt the game and legitimately not like it. It's another to doubt it and still buy it day 1 just to complain about it.

Ever since next gen consoles dropped"sports games specifically" have been terrible. as long as the companies like easports use the same engines/tech/microtransaction schemes, and devs every single year there will be no change. it specifically shows in madden! and it's the reason why madden always has the same issues and look every year!! 2k is falling off too, but at least 2k doesn't have a monopoly contract like easports. another company could actually make a nba game, but nobody will it bedazzles me! lol. but until the sports gaming industry moves on from investing and making new games for past gen consoles, we will never see change with these titles. it's rinse and repeat/copy and paste with fake promises and beautiful screenshots and trailers every year from easports i swear😩 tbh easports needs a whole new engine with real physics built specifically for next gen, and that would save this franchise. but don't mind me im just an upset day 1 madden player so I've been playing sports games for over 30 years and they keep getting worse every year it's sad.

To think a game that's not been on the market for over 11 years. Should be a masterpiece is crazy, we are not going to get everything we want,Hell in the real world we don't always get what we want.I need 5mill don't mean I'll live to ever see it, to be honest I wanted highschool to be in road to glory it's not! But what,I respect the most, EA did was grab the folks from the Modding Community and 2k Community bring them in to be our voice, while I would understand your bitching and complaining in year 2 are 3 but year one none of us deserve a masterpiece at this moment we should be grateful and praising EA for getting it right to the point we can say it's gone feel good to be able to play the game that we all love and took for granted the last time the true version was released. I agree too much complaining about a game thats never performed in this engine before this game, i admit some things will be a bummer to not be able to do or see but it's reasons why it isn't in the game as long as the gameplay is good and the important things are playable in the game then thats all that matters

A LOT of people are glazing TF out of EA. I hope it's a great game like we all do, but let's also rememeber to be REAL and remember who EA is at the end of the day. They have earned our caution when it comes to the hype.

Well it’s over 10,000 college players it’s not just 32 players likeness that’s the issue. Back then it was just random faces and players numbers and the only issue that came about was colleges and then it became it was just the players issue and paying them and then they settled that issue but it’s a big difference with legal issues between college itself and then college and nfl and nfl itself. That’s the issue but hopefully one day they do figure it out it so it can work cause that was a good feat back then. That’s why I think yu kan only transfer your RTG player cause it’s not a real player. But def hope the gameplay is A1💪🏾🙏🏾🔥I’m wit you kuz it is still EA wether it’s different people working on it or what not so will see in this gameplay footage.

At the end of the day, all you mf'ers are buying the game regardless, so all this squabbling back and forth online is really pointless. Whether you're part of the hype crowd, cautiously optimistic, or an EA hater. They're getting your money no matter what. So there's really only one side, the give EA your money side, and we're all on it together.

Totally get what you’re saying the only thing that I’m kinda bummed about is the RTG and how’s there’s only 5 positions to choose from yk I’m DE and it would have been cool to be able to play my position at any university but it is what it is hopefully they will listen to what the ppl want and learn from this game either way I’m pumped about the game

This is basically the same team building this game lol no game is flawless or perfect. Madden definitely has flaws but even after people have played this game and told people like me and you thats its not a typical ea game or madden reslin yall still on here being DISMISSVE about it. At this point we just gotta ignore yall becasue clearly yall just can not be happy with a game thah gets developed and put out on a basis. I just wish some of yall would try to do some research on how difficult it is to create a brand new game lol of course there will be some issues in madden and 2k and of course there will be some of the same things from the previous year. I have no desire to play these newer games. So glad I got a pc and now I can play ps2 Madden/NCAAFB on emulator. This console generation has been a complete disappointment.

I’ve played every single ncaa football as they released. I’ve liked every single game. I just play them. No game is perfect. But I don’t cry and bitch about them. I have my own opinion but if I say somethen like my favorite version of madden I might get slam. I know I been playing madden since 93 and ncaa in the 90s. I seen the changes from ps2 to the ps5 era. I understand and I stop buying madden. I still play one of the madden on the ps4. Even tho it still not on the level on the ps2 I still enjoy my time on one of madden on the ps4. But I respect your opinion and you just want a good football game.
