Born in June 2019, CRYPTA is a Brazilian/Dutch Death Metal fourpiece, influenced by the old school sub-genres of the style.
The band’s lineup include Fernanda Lira (vocals & bass) and Luana Dametto (drums), both ex-members of Brazilian thrash metal band Nervosa, Sonia Anubis (lead guitars) who also plays in Cobra Spell and played formerly in the heavy metal band Burning Witches, and Tainá Bergamaschi (guitars), ex-member of Hagbard.

Criminally under rated. Saw the Wakken video. Checked out the album. EVERY song is a monster. This is so good. Every member. Every riff. The soloing. The vocals. The lyrics the videos. It's all here. I wish it would get the credit it deserves. Woefully under rated band.

I completely agree with everything brotha - every piece is perfectly in place! Even the album cover!! And I agree with toddroy5872's remark below about Luana...holy shit she's a spectacular drummer! Fills galore. Can't wait to see them in Dallas in March with one of their biggest influences - Morbid Angel! And of course, gotta give creds to Taina here - her leads are like a crying angel, and in the midst of Crypta's furry, a very tasty contrast indeed...! Love her clean solo at the end of "Dark Night of the Soul" - I pour out of my chair every time I hear it. No shit.

As an old school metal head I have to say that these ladies are doing an excellent job and making some kick ass death metal. Those riffs were awesome and the song flowed from start to finish.

this one is what i like the most,the full album is brutal. it's interesting how this girls reflect the energy throughout the album,from a melodic way sound in riffs to savage sounds in rhythms to ending in butal wall of sound. killer album. this girl on guitar is special, i can tell, definitely worth check her future work.

Epic! Now I'm not only in love with Crypta's music but also in your style of playing Tainá. It looks and sounds both badass AF, heavy as cow and incredibly soulful, delicate, tender even... awesome. I really dig crypta. i am 61, been playing 45 years, and I just love their dark intensity . the foreboding lol I was never into deth metal , but with time i will play absolutely anything , pretty much any genre. I love anything done well. and it has to grab me . hobby becomes passion, passion becomes art. I got out of my comfort zone and my appreciation grew. Now I am Z mature arteest haha
