Cryptids in Games 

One of my favorite Cryptids shown in a game was the Watch Dogs Loch Ness Monster, because it never actually made an appearance in the final version. But the hunt for it was super interesting. It only was found out to be "real" because someone had a super old version of Watch Dogs.

Not sure if this counts as a "cryptid" but in animal crossing city folk if you throw your axe into a fountain a mouse appears with 3 axes: the one you threw in , a silver one , and a gold one. She asks which ask you lost. Answering truthfully she gives you all 3 axes! it may be based of a old korean folk tale : In the story, an old man accidentally lost his axe in a lake. He was crying because he was a poor woodcutter and cutting down trees was his only livelihood. Suddenly a goddess appears in the lake and asks what kind of axe he lost. He said it was an axe made of wood and iron. The goddess was impressed by his truthful answer and rewarded him with a gold axe. Also a notable mention to the ufo gulliver crashes in AC City folk.

Haven’t seen the video yet, but I find stuff like this very interesting. My favorite thing is seeing Cryptids be disproved and their origins and stuff. Too bad most people don’t care about that and would rather pretend they’re real with evidence that’s somehow vaguely racist 😒 (cough cough Fresno Nightcrawler)

I don't believe that Skinwalkers and Wendigos count as Cryptids, especially as Cryptids are mostly been discovered in the modern day while those two are known for far longer. The Thunderbird isn't one either.
