I think we are in an echo bubble like in summer 2019 but at higher prices relatively to ATH because of the ETF - we most probably will see the same for the next 2-3 months and price appreciation again in late Q3 or early Q4. I am preparing to buy back in the mid 40s to low 50s.

And also have you not watched his videos showing that altcoins dont follow bitcoin? Look at every bull run, every single time bitcoin rises then the second half of the bull run the altcoins outpeform bitcoin.

Also money zg has already shown that altcpins do not follow bitcoin. The first half of the bull run is quiet for altcoins and bitcoin outpeforms. The second half of the bull run is when altcoins go up and outpeform. This has happened every single bull run. Just look at the data

Now with the ETFs and the institutions there is the argument that the cycles we knew of are gone. Bitcoin is an asset that can run away so fast that every time you sell it there is a chance you will never be able to buy it back.

What's to stop wall street firms from just selling off at any retail push in BTC or ETH? Serious question but what is the likelihood we see any kind of meaningful rise if there are instant sell offs?

A important question!! If someone hold only little/few BTC and for example BTC goes up to 140K and then the up trend would be over. CAN YOU SELL AND BUY BACK after when BTC is in a low. OR YOU FACE THE RISK DON'T GET ANY BTC ANYMORE BCZ OF THE ETF BUYING??

Don't worry, they only have about 4 - 4.5% of ALL BTC. Maybe at the top (second half 2025) 7-8% And don't forget: when the market is bearish again, ETF clients will want to sell their share too.

Good point. Big institutions and the ETF make BTC an asset that can run away very fast, this is the first time this happens so maybe the notion of "cycles" is not relevant anymore. I would answer "yes" to your question: each time you sell, there is a chance you will never be able to buy it back again.

@FlatEnough I really think the opposite. ETFs will also sell their BTC around the top of the bull. They don't HODL in a bearish market. Their customers want to see profits !!!
