I came here to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $160k. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm confused about the current market volatility, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
The numbers on that high interest online savings account is wrong. 14% is written as 0.14%....correct, but they have a half of a percent written as 0.50%....incorrect, that's 50%

I'm late to the party here Eddie Moon , As far as fees? I didn't see you show if there are any deposit or withdraw fees. Lets say I deposit 10K, i go through the process and get my interest, when I withdraw back to my bank account is there a fee? I assume if you buy certain coins there are transaction fees but if I just want to pull the interest out, are there fees for that as well?
I realized that the secret to making a million is making better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Car or that vacation just yet and that mindset helps me make more money invest:ng. You can also stake smaller lumps sums each week, for 13 weeks as your interest is paid out, this creates a 3 month loop to compound the gained interest 😉

If you transfer it back to your bank THAT BECOMES A TAXABLE EVENT! If your bank reports (and they are now REQUIRED to) it; you must report a match on your tax return. Never go back to fiat and you can NEVER be taxed! So long as the IRS doesn't agree to accept BTC as payment. Stay out of their lane and you can't be 'hit' with a tax.

Question, once you purchase USDC and then after your 3 mth staking you "cashout" with your initial investment plus what you earned doesn't that then count as a capital gains event?? That's been my #1 concern. If I use this feature as a "savings account" but then have to take money out will I then owe capital gains on any profit??
yup its a taxable event. staking rewards = taxed as ordinary income; if you staked a coin not backed by fiat and the price increased from when you first staked it = taxed as capital gains
Hey Eddie got a question. After the contract term is finished, do we continue to earn interest for the rest of the year or do the earnings stop when the lockup term is completed? I can't tell if that P.A. interest persists for the whole year not. Thanks.
If you take your money out after 3 months then you will receive 3 months interest Example You stake $100 at a 12% per annum interest rate, so after a full year you would have $112 If you take your USDC out after 3 months, then you would get a quarter of $12 since 3 months is a quarter of 12 months, so you would receive $3
Think of it like a lease. Once the lease is up you have to reup/renew. So if you bought a 3 month term, after the 3 months is up the term expires and all contractual obligations are fulfilled. The funds are released (including interest generated). You will have to reup to keep getting the per annum for the full effect of the 12%. Like if you had $10K in the bank at 12% per annum but you withdrew at 3 months. You're not getting that 12%. You're getting 1/4 of that 12% as you withdrew at 3 months. In order to get the benefit of the full 12% you'd have to keep it in there for the full term (12 months (per annum)).

Great video! I think the way to go for long term holds and stablecoins is to stake your large bag every 3 months. Then you stake medium bags such as if you DCA into something for 1 month at a time while you're waiting on your large bag to unlock again. Then you can take interest from both (especially when you get close to your 3 month unlock date) and throw it in a small flexible bag, ready to reinvest and repeat the cycle again for the next 3 months.
This is just like locking money into a CD earning interest for a specific time. If you are worried about locking up all your money, but still want to maximize your passive interest income, you could use a CD ladder strategy. Say you have 12K available, first month you lock up 4K for 3 months, second month you lock up another 4K for 3 months, third month you lock up the last 4K for 3 months. Starting the 4th month, you will always have full access to 1/3 of your 12K in case of emergency. But if you keep the rolling 4K lock up going each month for a year, you will still earn the full 12% interest on the entire 12K.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 In fact no, since the benfits are paid weekly, i reinvest it every week so with the compounded interest, it becomes exponantial and it increases the apy fastly than every 3 months.

And no he have not earned 100k on passive interest. He would have been a millionaire to do that, and he said he is not a millionaire yet like 4 videos ago.
