To anyone who owns a copy for Xbox 360; Crysis 2 still works natively on Xbox Live! And it's backward compatible! My and my friend organise sessions every Sat & Sun. We alternate between objective modes and modes like TDM or FFA.

How did you manage to crysis 2 multiplayer ? I thought the game spy servers shut down a decade ago. Are you playing the original crysis 2 or the remaster version?
Ignore these dummies. all you have to do is to google "Crysis 2 pcgamingwiki", then enter the first site you see (which is from PCGamingWiki). After that, go to the Network category and you will read something like "Online server browser stopped working on May 31, 2014.[8] Use OpenSpy from these two sites: [1] [2]." Then click on [2] and you can guide yourself from there. Both sites give you a way to play Crysis 2 OpenSpy online, but the first site ( [1] ) is useless because it has its download mod file broken. And sadly they come with a launcher instead of launching the game directly with the functioning multiplayer. Oh and you also have to download OpenSpy. Overall, it's stupid that people managed to make an OpenSpy THIS late for a 2011 game, it would be much more alive have they done it in 2014 or 2015 when the official GameSpy servers were shut down. So it's a little too late for the game to win any traction/players now in 2024.
