Crysis 2 - Opening Credits Sequence 1080p 

This is quite possibly one of the greatest opening sequences in video gaming history.

It's like 40º C here and this song gives me the chills. Amazing soundtrack.

One day I bought this game thinking it was more of a first person shooter with some skills. When I saw this opening on my PS3 my jaw dropped to the floor. My body almost shivered, both from the video and the music. From the day I saw this opening for the first time until today I feel chills and tears streaming from my eyes. One of the best openings for video games, besides the opening of BATMAN ARKHAM ORIGINS, in my opinion.

When I bought this game, I NEVER expected such a beautiful opening, a wonderful song and something that made me cry with happiness. Congratulations to everyone involved in this opening and in the game as well. One of the best game openings I've had the pleasure of seeing and hearing.

Back then as a kid, this was the coolest thing I ever saw and still feel the same!

Best game in the series. It had it all. The graphics (especially with the dx11 and high res texture pack upgrade), the gameplay, an engaging story and huge action set-pieces that felt momentous. And above all else.. that musical score took it to the next level. Cry2 = ❤

Finished the campaign 3 times, this is definitely in my top ten list. Brings back so many memories

It's been 10 years now, I've yet to get those chills in my body upon opening this game in any other game released ! Make a movie out of this Franchise please! and have Hans Zimmer and Cevat Yerli put me spiked up hairs!!!

i love this opening ! especially the part it zoom into its nano suit to see how the suit works on different mode. just tactical view a bit weird... lol...

Ok, so this cutscene really impressed me as a teenager, but as an adult...I can't help but notice how much randomness there is. Hear me out: - 1:15 Sudden airstrike. Who even ordered it and why? - 1:40 The helicpoter started shooting his position LITERALLY the second after he de-cloaked. Did the pilot already know Alcatraz's exact location or was he aiming at the fellow Cell soldier, because he was shagging his sister or something? - 1:48 After Alcatraz lands on the street, why didn't the same pilot continue shooting at Alcatraz? He was wide open! - 2:14 Alcatraz shot the gunner of the heavily-armored vehicle but why did it suddenly stop? The driver should have been fine. Did he just give up? - 2:30 That must be the same helicopter from before. I guess he circled back. But why did he feel the need to circle back in the first place? It's still a cool cutscene. But the chain of events feel too scripted.

Crytek miss a big occasion not making a Crysis movie....
