"After huge advancements in protection technology on space marine suites we can proudly report that we increased the time to survive from 1.6 seconds to 2.4 seconds in average" ...
It would, at least brake even on box office if not 200% - 300% returns, with interesting characters, script etc the market is ready for a franchise like that.
Just so y'all know when your girl is staring out the window all quiet and you ask her what's wrong and she says "nothing". This is what's going through her mind.
MrBenny10101 I like to think that the Viking knew that there wasn’t going to be enough time for the siege tanks to get ready or at least he/she thought that so they sacrificed themselves to buy a few precious moments for the rest to get ready for the coming onslaught.
@@mynameissuperelaborate3746 I'm sorry, but if you don't see the giant flying Zerg, you deserve to be caught with your pants down. The capital had plenty of time to start setting up that line.
Matt Hawkins I think you're completely missing the point. They said "movie of this caliber" as in the caliber of the trailer and its CGI goodness with its epic war scenes, not of the entire storyline of Starcraft which is pretty craptastic. That I can agree on. Though really, I'm not going to have an argument over this. We can agree to disagree if you don't get what I'm trying to point out to you.
Never seen Starship Trooper. Does it have 3 races fighting for superiority? Are the technologies and warfare of the same calibur as SC? Don't ask me why, but I never got into space scifi, but I absolutely love SC and would love to see an animated/3D movie such as this intro made.
Monster LMA There are maybe only a handful of directors that could do a good job with this kind of material, but chances are the studio would pick someone who can make money off of it, not necessarily a good film.
As cool as a Sci-fi trope as it is to have humanity united under one banner to fight an alien threat (like the Swarm), the thought of them spreading and invading like that is absolutely terrifying. I'm glad we haven't come across a threat like that irl haha.
it's simple really, you see how say zergling hp is like 40 hp or 20? idk. Imagine a single 1 hp is a single unit. That is how I imagine battles. So basically 1 zergling (40 hp) is actually 40 zerglings.
im all for it for seeing the retardness of uther and jaina in full 4k but we still have to see the sequel where the second war occur because thats also awesome.
I kind of want to try out a first/third-person game of being a zerg. Like becoming different zerg units, or a primal zerg that kept evolving on the battlefield. Would be fun I guess, experiencing the story from a different persprctive and whatnot.
For those who are interested why Viking made a landing here's the answer you were looking for, when he flew above he saw that Ultralisk was charging up too fast, and since he landed and stopped him a bit, he continued on a slower pace, he gave time for the tanks to make final preparations
+AEIIIStraigon See that large creature coming out of the ground? It ruptures the entire ground to the right of the statue, which causes the statue to buckle and fall. 1:39
Yeah, Blizzard games and cinematics were always incredible and joyable. I love supporting them by buying their products, they deserve it for their amazing quality.
1:45 Also look at the "flashes" of the Marines' guns firing. There are hundreds of them, but then they quickly diminish when the Zerg overtake them. Gives me a chill.
You assume it was a guy. Viking pilots can be women too. actually mentions that Viking pilots in general are rare (due to being able to adapt to the transformation) so they'd take people regardless of gender if they were capable in one.
Yes, people understand, that's why we like it soo much. I think you're exagerating a little bit too much, you can go and see tons of Animation Movies with a great level of detail, far more than one of these cinematics and the average time to make a movie like that should be around 5 years. There's a lot of people working on a project like this, would take 50 years to put a man in Mars, even far less, but not a movie.
이종현 well look at the new WarCraft movie i like the cgi orcs more than these humans , yes it will be much work but i hope for improvement in technology that will it make easier
+lXlElevatorlXl The orcs looked awesome, but, it's harder to make them fit properly in a physical world where they need to interact with real actors, like grabbing them and stuff, and tbh it doesn't look quite good, at least those kind of specific moments. The hair tho, the hair :3
+Shadow Stalker No, Games Workshop was too squeamish. Had they accepted Blizzard's offer, Warhammer would have dominated the RTS and MMO market by now.
I remember playing a demo as a kid on a shareware cd where the terrans talked all deep voiced and serious like a 40k game and referred to the zerg as xenos, I dont think they mentioned anything Games Workshop related though but it felt much more grimdark.
Pong Sifu you think it's funny, but many people live by scripts. both girls and boys, think that live should be like in the movies. but yeah, yeah this isn't real, and you'll never have sex with sarah kerrigan, and you'll never fuck and elf girl. but you might live in a post apocalyptic era....
Radioactive Ultra Donkey ***** do both you lack any reading comprehension? i didn't even talk / addressed any of you idiots. i addressed a specific commenter in a friendly manner and he replied to me. are you really that desperate or attention deprived that you troll people that didn't even address you? fuck off.
So much potential for the Starcraft universe. It could make cool movies and other game genres than RTS. Starcraft is the only IP I would buy/preorder without a second thought, and I look forward to future projects and eventually a starcraft 3.
Henning Petzschke lol , its not the hyperion ... its one of mengsk battle cruiser , why would the queen of blades army be destroying the battle cruiser that raynor is in ...
Try the dwan of war intro's they are prety solid the fan made dawn of war is not dead is also awsome and battleleet gothic openings are always great to watch.
Looking back, this is still one of the coolest game trailers. You've got the viking transforming into ground mode and instagattling the ultralisk, siege tank siege mode set up, closeup of ultralisk barrelling towards the terrans, the nydus worm spawning, mengsk's statue falling and to top it all off the battlecruiser falling from the sky into the ground.
To be sure, Blizzard has given Warcraft a lot more attention than Starcraft. Three strategy game titles, plus an MMORPG with 5, soon to be 6 expansions. Much as I like Warcraft, I love my Starcraft even more and wish Blizz would show it a little more love.
Starcraft is more about the interaction between the races, so having them centered around a certain race would be cool but I'd certainly prefer a more neutral point of view, that way every movie would be even more enjoyable for people with favourite races. -
We really underestimate the size of the zerg. Literally, the leviathan was so big that the Vikings barely scratched them, and nydus worms were...my lord
