"When they came to me with the crysis 3, I tried sacrificed my graphics card, the card which was Dx10 compatible. When my own flesh and blood held me back, I sacrificed that too. Replaced it,with a dx11 card AND. Victory costs. Every time, you pay a little more. I saw a glimpse of what's coming and there was nothing left of me to stop it. When the greatest combat machine fails to play on my PC... what do we do then? What do I do?!"
It wasn't underrated. It was just another fuck up by EA. The campaign was way too short for a Crysis game. As much as my love for the series, I loathed this game because of EA
***** It shouldn't have been longer. Crysis 2 was long, but it was entertainingly long. It was showing you the gradual descent into chaos that was happening in the city. After playing for so many hours only to see Central Park rise up out of the ground, it feels like the game is challenging you, asking you "what are you prepared to sacrifice?" And that's when you answer... MY TIME :)
He knows what drives me.. what I believe, that, being a good soldier comes down to one thing, to one SINGLE QUESTION. what are you prepared to sacrifice?... I would never forget this awesome game.
One of the coolest parts of the cutscene w/ this song is that it ends with a screen that suggests he finally gave up, and the gameplay (Where he yells "NO!") is where he gets his shit together.
"What are you prepared to sacrifice?" "When they to came to me with the Nanosuit; I sacrificed Laurence Barnes, the Man I Was to become...Prophet." "Maybe the greatest tactical combat machine the world has ever known....but when you've sacrificed everything you had to become a perfect, cold, hard, logical machine, and that machine fails-what happens then?" "When Prophet fails....what's left?" "..." "...My name is Laurence Barnes...but they called me Prophet." "...Remember me."
This is my favrouite games in the xbox 360 era: Call of duty 4 to 9 Borderlands Crysis 1, 2 and 3 and lastly bf 3 - 1 These games right now all have a special area on my heart
Let's not forget the musical sting that has him get his shit together and start fighting is the same motif as Crysis 2's. In my mind it's the remnants of Alkatraz giving Barns the same "Get Moving Marine!" as he gave Alky all those years ago.
THAT. I remember there was some comic or something about it. In here Alcatraz finally agreed to led Barnes take a lead in Suit, but I always imagined that he was there, somewhere, watching and taking part in a fight. And in that last scene, when all seems to be lost, all of them were there. Lost Soldiers of Raptor Team. The only line of defense from Ceph civilisation. So epic soundtracks deserve to be remembered
+Entertainment LOL , I always thought to post like "You have something Prophet , something the Ceph will never have or understand .. a big nanodick " =]]
"You have something, Prophet. Something the ceph will never have or understand, and that is the greatest music in the possible multiverse." -Me and 339 other people.
I just finished the remastered trilogy and this is by far the greatest game in the series in my opinion and it definitely deserves the sequel it’s getting. Such an underrated gem. A beautiful Messy Flawed Masterpiece.
1:24 triggers a nostalgic feeling i can't describe it.... I could cry right now... Just played the story of C3 again... Best game ever made. So sad there won't be a 4th part. RIP aus Deutschland, Heimat von Crysis.
yea but will have a new storyline instead of continuing prophet story which is dumb cause he merged with the suit they could have 1 more storyline with him
@@budahboy1996 nah, the trilogy was enough, if they did any more then they would've ruined it, prophet literally retires at the end, no more story for him, start with a new guy that maybe prophet have his suit to
To be honest a Crysis film wouldn't be hard to make; the concept's all there, and movies have the technology for stuff like him turning invisible and so on. A Crysis movie would be sick if done well
They brought Peter Antovszki back for the Crysis 3 soundtrack? :D That's awesome! He was the composer behind Crysis: Warhead's soundtrack, and, as all fans know, that OST was both badass and epic. :)
superhsvmarci12 Not sure in a AIO CLC, but if i remember correctly after a while, the coolant inside will pick up traces of other metals like aluminum from the radiators and fry your parts like my Sabertooth z77 and both evga gtx 670's
Crysis 3 has the most vivid story that has dragged me since the first part of the game and I think it's the best game ever to be released because no other story like this has hit me emotionally, especially in the third part where the end shocked me a lot and always I'm looking at the end of the game so I'm thinking about how Psycho hit and if he lives Crysis never die !!!!
1:25 This music started playing during the storming of the Archangel control center, when I looked up at the tower and saw how desperately the air defense was resisting. One. For many miles , the surviving one is the same ;(
Ama mükemmel soğuk, sert ve mantıklı bir makine olmak için her şeyi feda edersen ve o makine işe yaramazsa o zaman ne olur? Prophet başarısız olursa geriye ne kalır?
Crysis - "What are you prepared to sacrifice? Me - Looks at amount I need to pay for school. "$2,400 for one semester apparently." My bank account - *dead*
I heard this song in Red Star Rusing mission. Oh my gosh, 1:22 came on as there were like 3 turrets and millions of people shooting at me as I snuck into the secret vent area out in the open. THIS SONG IS THE BEST OUT OF EVERYTHING in this game so far. 2nd best is puase menu.
Revenge on executive producers for killing the first game dude in a comic (lol) involving time leaps (lolx2) and then trying to bury the whole non sense in the second and third games.
"I turned them into post human warriors! You're a soldier think of it as necessary sacrifice" You lied to us!" This is no war ordinary humans could win this is the future!!"
I really felt like I was the only one who had the power to save the world when this song came up. I was like "The ceph, they're here and I'm all there is"
It's played towards the end of the Red Star Rising chapter. When you infiltrate the place and need to get to the elevator. That being said, the right course of action is to change your upgrades to Max Shield/Damage Deflect/Health Regen and go to town on them.
...? Alcatraz is still there the suit does not move on it's own without a body inside it's a puppet without strings and it is Alcatraz's body inside the suit. Also WOOOOSSSHHH
I love how in the beginning the song plays like prophet is just a machine, then he has an idea, and found out that mistakes is what makes him human but he scarified that so now it's just back to logic.
He needs that humanity though. That was the key, the thing the Ceph would never have or understand. When the Ceph were coming through the portal and his suit was failing, the logical thing would be to give up and shut down. But his humanity led him to keep going despite how hopeless it all was. Leading him to see archangel floating past and thinking to use that against them. "Feed all that energy back into the Alpha Ceph... And you'll punch one hell of a hole in the Earth." Or take out the entire Ceph standing army.
@@morgan79737 I read somewhere that they stated that Prophets journey is over, so the next game will most likely get another set of characters. I don't think they are going to retcon anything as it wouldn't make much sense.
This song plays a few times in the game, I heard it some time before reaching Rasch in Red Star Rising, the flooded coast part before the mastermind and in the cave before the alpha ceph.
Psycho: "Damn it Payne, it was never just about the comment" Claire: "Is it even English?" Rasch: "You have grammar Payne, grammar the world will never have or understand"
