@@Jun-Kyard games dont take that long to make usually. For reference, Crysis 2 took 4 years to make. If they got the initial ideas started in late 2019 and shift over at the release of Crysis remastered, I think 2023 could be possible if things went well. Edit: fixed typo
@@XtremeNukeFighters wonder what kind of spin-offs they'd make to pass the time. Maybe go into the RTS genre with Crysis Wars and several years later, after a few prologues to Crysis and Crysis 2, they could release Crysis Wars 2. One side could be the Ceph, the other C.E.L.L. Maybe have Prophet and Alcatraz as hero units :) Edit: fixed typo
its funny right how all of a sudden your entire list of most anticipated games of the year, wish list for the past few months gets thrown out and when steam sales hits you dont buy a single game instead prepare to throw your money at crytek with maximum force plan to keep your internet bandwith safe from parent wanting to see netflix like maximum armour all while your Pc is going into cloak mode and using maximum speed to escape your gaming obsessions all while you think about what parts need to be swapped for the best smoothest gaming experience possible
Man every gaming forum out there had guys with the results bar for crysis as their sig... you know the animated bar that was either red with cobwebs or all the way in the green... i hated those people. lol
@@RoseSupremeI took into consideration the playable timeline, that is when Raptor team sets foot on the island - August 14. That's caused by the fact that North Korea invaded the island one week earlier, on August 7.
@Niko Umicevic After crysis 1, i think they were red or something like that. Maybe they addapted to Earth climate or aliens from 1 part were only a cannon fodder or some kind of 1 wave before the rest of them wakes up or maybe their main mission was to freeze everywhing and change climit on planet.
@@beri4138 it depends what you mean by "decent" framerates. At best, the 8800 gtx could run Crysis 1 at 720p high settings 30-40fps average with dips below 30. I agree with you, for 2007 it was decent... but nowadays most people aim for 1080p 60fps to play games smoothly. For Crysis 1, 1080p gaming at 60 fps you need at least a gtx 1060. (1050 ti is struggling to keep it above 60 fps) For Crysis remastered, honestly it might run almost the same (without ray tracing activated off course). If Crytek keeps the same engine as they used for Hunt Showdown, the gtx 1060 should play 1080p 60fps fine. (AMD equivalent would be the rx570) Take care !
100% true on that. But even when it came out on May setup it runned realy good. I had: AMD 4200 X2 DUO 4 gig ram 8800 GT video card. And it played realy Nice and even when not everything was on high it looked so great. Im 100% sure even on consoles you Will be blown out of your Roo😁 Cant wait

Wesley de Waart this been confirmed that it’s based on those and not the original Pc version ? Actually that won’t be too bad since I’m sure the ps3 and Xbox version were built on more advanced versions of Cryengine and then scaled down. OG Cryengine for Crysis had hella leaks especially with memory.
I feel like it's going to be able to run on 1080p 45 FPS ultra even on a 2080 ti(the reason I say even to and follow up with the best mainstream GPU ,is obviously because the standards for cysis remastered bare high) since 1080 p resolution today is more or less mid/low end
Nobody every said 2020 is a bad year? Are you kidding? 2020 was highly anticipated since last year... Doom Eternal, RE3, FFVII remake, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us 2, Halo Infinite, Half-Life Alyx, Nioh 2, Dying Light 2, Ori 2 and so many other great games... I know you were just tyring to make a joke, but you didn't think it through. Everyone expected 2020 to be fantastic for games.
@@xicofir3737Minecraft RTX is stunning... But I don't think that it will be in Crysis( At least reflections should be really awesome like in Crytek's neon noire demo. (Sorry for English)
Nah, the main (only?) reason it's so demanding is because of single threaded software. But I suspect they'll add ray tracing, which is what will make it slow once more. P.S. Fucking love Crysis and Crysis Warhead: been playing those games nearly every year since launch.
@@milleniumfalcon9677 their new engine supports ray tracing without dedicated processors... So it is possible us AMD Bois can finally achieve that glorious cinematic gameplay... If our computers don't melt first. After all, it is a Crysis game...
juanjojuanjo eff although that’s true this is likely not gameplay most cinematic’s like this are usually rendered we can only wait and see for actually gameplay. Either way I’m hyped
Hardware companies: Hi, Crytek? Yeah... you see... sales are going difficult... world health and economic crisis and stuff, you know... can you do something about? Crytek: Did you said Crysis? Hold my beer...
Crysis. An all-time favorite. ❤ We need a Crytek like the one that produced Crysis in 2007. The one on the cutting-edge and pushing technology forward. 2007 was such a special time because of the efforts of the Crytek employees that made Crysis.
If you look at a game like Crysis, compared to other games that came out in the same year / month like Mass Effect or Call of Duty MW, the visual fidelity difference is honestly staggering.
Crysis was the coolest thing back when I was a kid . The thing that you could punch cars and trees to the ground , pick up ammo and guns with your hands was unseen. And the suit ... so so awesome and slick .

I agree with you, Crysis was really a special game when it first came out. I remember being astonished by the graphics and the physic engine (cutting trees with bullets, destroying small shacks with grenades, and being able to almost take anything from the world and throw it, example cans). But really... the best part for me is... maximum armor, maximum strenght, maximum speed, cloak engaged. You feel like a super hero playing that game lol It was 13 years ago, and I still play it from time to time. I hope you'll enjoy the remastered edition as much as you enjoyed the first one. Take care ! ;)
I remember arguing and skipping out on a family reunion to play this game because i got it the night before... it was a sad memory, but i was that excited to play it.. I was so blown away watching gameplay videos and seeing you had the ability to pick up anything , destroy anything , or even pick up a guy and throw him through a building!! Lmao Sad i know, but hey this was a big leap from Battlefield 2 or COD2!
@@galaxytraveler5779 I agree and I feel you, Crysis was revolutionnary when it came out. I am not expecting the same from the Remastered Edition, but I still hope to be blown away by the new features of that Cry Engine. Who knows, maybe there will be even more destructible things(!), incredible physic engine (!!) and graphics that will impress as much as it did before (!!!)... who knows !? (I'm hyped lol)
NOMAD: Lock on his position, we're going back Crytek: *The Technology just isn't ready yet.* PSYCHO: It was never about the technology, it was about what's inside. Crytek: *Coming Soon*
Being a good soldier comes down to one thing. To one single question: What are you prepared to sacrifice? When they came to me with the nanosuit, I sacrificed Laurence Barnes, the man I was, to become Prophet. When my own flesh and blood held me back, I sacrificed that too. Replaced it, like a spare part. Victory costs. Every time, you pay a little more. I saw a glimpse of what's coming and there was nothing left of me to stop it. When the greatest combat machine fails... what do we do then? What do I do?!
Attila Kiss When they came to me with Crysis 3, I had sacrificed my graphics card, the card which was Dx10 compatible. When my own flesh and blood held me back, I sacrificed that too. Replaced it with a dx11 card AND. Victory costs. Every time, you pay a little more. I saw a glimpse of what's coming and there was nothing left of me to stop it. When the greatest combat machine fails to play on my PC.. what do we do then? What do I do?!
Man,Crysis was the benchmark for every computer back then.Still remember my 8600GT video card making noises like an Airbus while trying to get the game on medium high

OK the game is on Hold for Now.Keep tight they saw our reaction and they delayed the trailer, that's a smart move,Crytek needs more time to make the game we expect from them. The fans are disappointed because they expected something a lot better than the leaked trailer... you are Crytek not Ubisoft with their downgrades so please Crytek take your time and make a game worthy of your name.

sorta. It doesn't have subsurface scattering for skin, and its texture-work is definitely aged. But its lighting and interactivity, physics, etc are still top notch. Insanely impressive for a 13 year old game.
the texture quality has sure dated a bit but the environment and lighting system is still top notch. it's a huge thing a for 13 years old game (not to mention the physics is still very advanced. even on today there's not many games which can beat the physics quality of this game. it's achieved with freaking! CRYENGINE yo! 😎)
Guys, chill out, I played all 3 parts, I know you play as Nomad in part1 , in part 2 prophet suicides and you play as another soldier who prophet saved, and in 3 you play as prophet himself, but for me, prophet's words were the best ,,Remember me"
Ikr.... I really don't get why wouldn't they remaster the whole series. I'm a bit disappointed now tbh. Still excited for this but I was expecting something like the Ezio Collection or Uncharted collection.
@@Kaustab01 doubt it. It took a couple of years of pc components to play that game smoothly and the devs did that on purpose. They wont release it unless it crushes at least mid range gpus like 2060 or vega 56
@@TheGentry000 actually back then the matter was devs didn't optimized that game at all so it runs poorly in mid range even in high end gpus then but look at ps3 and xb360 it runs well though bcos it was optimized later for consoles
The fact that this channel is alive again after six years makes me so happy! Hopefully this one sells well and Crysis 2 & 3 gets remastered and also a new game in general.

It's not even close the way it was back in 2007, this will be a piece of cake to run. Just the fact that the game is coming to shitty consoles means it'll be easy to run.
@@woodydragonest Wanna bet that the game will run much better than the first one even with raytracing ON, keep in mind it's software-based RT. One RTX2080ti will slice through the game with ease, CryTek is not going the same route they did back in 2007 to release a game that will take years to catch up hardware-wise.
RIP those beautiful souls who waited all these years for a Crysis comeback, but didn't make it through for the C[]vid. Love and respect from PC Master Race. 😢🙏❤
