Just lost a mate in a mining accident 3 days ago here in Wales.We used to drive to work together and he was always playing this song to the point of driving me nuts.Havent heard it for years,she sings it lovely.Rest in peace Phil.

This is my song from my childhood! My very favorite! I loved watching her swing her long, long hair around while singing a song. Has somebody remade it? Because I heard it playing in a store and the memories came flooding back. It sent me back to the good parts of my kiddie days.

Crystal Gayle sang many beautiful songs. I don't think I've ever heard one I didn't like. Her hair sometimes was so long it almost touched the floor. A beautiful woman, with a beautiful voice, that's Crystal Gayle. Thank you Crystal for recording the 5 albums I have in my collection.

Cheryl Barron- Google is in trouble. It doesn't work right. It malfunctions. They need to clean up their problems. They snoop on people. I mentioned to soneone I didn't like either of our US Presidental canditates of the two major parties. I am fesrful for our country if either one gets elected. Google supports Hillary Clinton according to the Seattle newspaper and donsted money to her election fund. Since I tslked about it, Google has been crookedly harassing me on line. They come into my telephone to cause trouble. That is against the law. Apparently Google doesn't believe in freedom of speech, one of our rights as Americans. New things keep coming out about her that are damaging. We have a right to discuss these candidates. I worjed for a telephone company and know, by law, operating systems have no right snooping on the people using their service. We have the right to believe our personal business will stay private. i love this song but it's definitely not the motto of a SCORPIO woman. If someone finds someone new.. SEE ya. Sure we maybe a little bit sad for a few minutes but Waiting around begging, crying over some Ahole is not the Scorpion Female way. in like 20 minutes we've found Someone new.. This country makes you feel what love is about, song dedications, loving time together, and says things that you may not be able to find the words to say. My generation seems to have forgotten, so now I'm a lonely romantic but love my music. I hope you keep it in your heart too

@Pmd9013 Did you know she keeps it cut at three inches off of the floor all the time, because people and her kids kept stepping on it. When working around the house she rolls it from the bottom up to her waist, around one hand, and puts it in her pocket, to keep it out of the way. Cleaver! She is a very beautiful woman! i remember this song in a cassette back in early 80's. it had kenny rodger and other artists in it too but can't remember what the album was call anymore... it had a particular song that i really like sung by a woman (was soft voice and nice melody)... if anyone who knows what i'm talking about let me know please will greatly appreciate it. ive been looking for it for a long time now but no luck.

@Honeydip4545 Loretta does have sister named Peggy Sue. However, she has never recorded under the name Crystal Gayle. Crystal was born Brenda Gail Webb. However, Brenda couldn't record under the name "Brenda", so she devised a pseudonym for herself. I'm not really sure how she came up with "Crystal Gayle". I think the Krystal hamburger chain may have had something to do with it.

This song breaks my heart. Not because I like Crystal Gayle, but the girl I was dating at the time liked this song and she dumped me. It was 1977. This was 34 years ago and it still hurts. If she sees this, she will never realise that it's me. I'm sure she has long forgotten, I just need to have it off my chest. Sorry.
