The ‘G’ he’s referencing around 9:45 is GHB, the date rape drug. Just wanted to clarify that. Also, the SHU is the Segregated Housing Unit. It is the hole in prison. Time in there can be anywhere from three months to years.

There's more than one "date rape drug", GHB being one of them. CSI, if one were to stay clear of a drug because some malicious scum use it in an evil way, well, the sober life is the life for you. There's a lot of things that can knock someone out, simply giving someone a drink that's stronger than they wanted is in the same territory. I don't think GHB is a very safe drug due to addiction potential, but it is physically healthier than booze and has quite similar effects. Ghb is no worse than other depressants, mostly.
@tantheman3359
@tantheman3359 3 года назад
@@joecarter4638 im pretty sure ghb is known as the most common tho, I've had some since I saw it on this video not that good I dont get why people get addicted to it but I never likes alc either, it's just like alcohol but 10× stronger. You put 3ml in some chick's brink and she will be out in 30min. I would never but I could definitely see how easy it is. I still got like one dose left prob gonna save it for some stuck up hitch lol jk
@joecarter4638
@joecarter4638 3 года назад
@@tantheman3359 It definitely is. It being a small amount of liquid makes it very easy to mix with a drink so I understand it's effective for criminals. But for a person who enjoys alcohol and is looking after their health, its a smart replacement, assuming you don't abuse it. I think it increases HGH while you sleep, not sure on that though. Booze is just so popular and accepted and leads to even more DR than Ghb and on top of that its toxic as fuck. #legalize ghb... kidding. But what if they sold ghb at pharmacies watered down to safe concentration and gave it a very obvious additive that made your drink taste off if its mixed in. This could restrict illegal Ghb sales to people that need it flavorless and we would know whos buying for shady reasons and if one wanted they could attach all purified ghb position charges with something extra regarding drugging. idk I'm bored, dont take me seriously

Random observation: This is a recurring theme with drug addicts - their sexual fantasies are always greater than how it plays out in reality. I am reminded of Patrick. They are always left unsatisfied. Drugs lead to delusions of grandeur. I've heard many others' stories on here who say life is "good" when they're clean, but ultimately, much too boring/mundane for them. Although this guy isn't "likeable" to most (including myself), it's a relatable human condition that he wants to live in his own head, where everything seems better than in reality.

I was hustling out of an apartment full of meth users cause I knew one of them and towards morning, I fell asleep. I woke up with 6 people surrounding me, looking down and saying, “What’s wrong with her? What is she doing?” “I don’t know.” “I dont know.” Then they went and got my friend, got in their huddle around me again. My friend said, “She’s sleeping. Wat u mean, what is she doing?” I was so damn relieved. They responded with a chorus of “Why? Why?” I will never forget that. I am in recovery, but I could tell Meth was a whole different ballgame. That’s why I don’t even judge if meth addicts do horrible things, because none of us know what our brains would do if we deprived them of sleep for weeks and weeks until we’ve been there.

@@jessicajennifer9827 the brain is a very sensitive organ and once we manipulate the brain chemistry, especially to the degree it is changed thru meth use and all its side effects like sleep deprivation etc. There is also a line where occasional use turns into regular and sustained use and that negative impact on the brain and its chemistry goes from reversible over time to permanently impacted .. maybe not to the level when actively on the drug, but there is definitely a lasting change after abusing meth for so long. Unfortunately there isn’t enough clinical studies to give us reliable data on this stuff, it really needs to be done when you consider how far and wide meth use has spread across our country.
