I wonder how many of Joe's hundreds of tracks can he play on the spot. Give him the title, let him think about it and get his gear set up. He is an amazing musician and individual.
Probably a third if I had to guess. If you don’t re visit songs just a matter of time you’ll forget sections.. John Petrucci once said he would go to RU-vid to re learn sections of his songs 😂
Masterful intonation on all his bends. It’s a joy to watch Joe play this again after all these years. I’ll never forget the first time I listened to Crystal Planet. Thanks for posting. 🙏😎
Hes so at home in his riffs. I grew up with his super high bends and harmonics, it gives me chills everytime. This album especially lol. We even had Ceremony jamming at our wedding 🤘
As a man who can make a guitar sound like a kitten, making an alien ice planet sound was a piece of cake 🎂 😂 Clearly he is not of this world for Satriani's(Gods) sake!
Sick! I’m going to attempt something similar in 2024. I’m going to play the drums, bass and guitar on my own originals. Recording live in front of the camera like that is extremely challenging. When I do, I seem to make way too many mistakes 🤣 That was Sick Joe! I’m inspired!
Those dudes on the back: "Watch this guy, I dunt like'em. Look, he sticks mostly to Ibanez stuff for some reason. I send Steve to guard Ibanez while he hangs out here" 😅
Even the cops are enjoying it, now i'm imaginning those cops headbanging to "Crushing day"(the song that made me learn to play guitar and many years later to play bass).
I like the two cops standing in the background , they look like "wtf, ! My kid plays guitar, is this guy living in his moms basement, how does he afford to do this at his age ?? !"😂😂
